Think it’s a year by year prospect, and we keep asking/agreeing to it so we can’t get too upset. Although a run of sold out home games would have made us think twice surely? Guess the cash incentives are more than we make on a home game?

To celebrate the release of the draw for the 2025 edition of Magic Round, we're looking back at some of the best individual performances witnessed at the rugby league spectacular in Brisbane.
From remarkable try-scoring efforts to brilliant bench cameos and coming-of-age moments, these are the magicians who have dominated Magic Round so far.
Te Maire Martin (Warriors v Panthers, 2024)
Having arrived at Suncorp Stadium on a five-game winless run, a week removed from a thrashing at the hands of the Roosters and with their superstar No.7 Shaun Johnson unavailable, the Warriors were given little chance of overcoming the defending premiers. But someone forgot to tell Te Maire Martin, who proceeded to put together arguably the best game of his career and drag the Kiwi side to a famous victory by providing four line break assists, three try assists and booting the ball for 600 metres. After setting up both his centres with devastating short balls that left the defence with no chance earlier in the match, Martin demanded the ball with the game on the line and laid on another for Taine Tuaupiki to lock it up at 20-20. Tuaupiki calmly piloted the conversion and the Warriors had pulled off a famous win.

byes look like they are a bit close together in the middle of the season. 5, 9, 2, 9 games in a row. long finish to the season, AW will need to get some rotation going in that last stretch before finals

Doesn't look like a terrible draw other than the byes. Another thing to note is we are playing the Knights on ANZAC day which looks to be at home but will still need to be confirmed.
What happened to Vegas teams playing each other in Round 2 as well?? That is a stitch-up for all 4 teams
I really liked the Titans on ANZAC Day, it's a shame they aren't persisting with that but bloody good we still have it at home.

That shapes to be a bloody rough run.. Christchruch, Brisbane, Wollongong, back to Brisbane, One game in Auckland, then two weeks in Sydney leading into our first Origin bye

No late kick offs in Aus
Byes are decent enough considering one is for origin. The first bye is perfectly placed after Vegas.
9 games is a long stretch at the back end but it is against opposition we should be able to beat more often than not.
Was hoping for a Sydney away game in round 6 next year as a large number of Auckland FC fans will be heading to Sydney that weekend. But a Storm Sunday afternoon game is the next best thing as I will just fly home from Melbourne. Booking flights now!
Anzac is a real heart breaker though. One game I already had factored into my annual leave for next year. Anzac under lights on a Friday night at Mt Smart would've been amazing
