Which is odd because in this interview today with webster. He keeps going on about how walks leaving is good for our younger players and how good they are with passing around the footy. But maybe that just means more mins. Then he goes on to say they know for sure who has filled in the slot and we'll know for sure 24 hours before the match.
Interesting that he says "we had every intention of playing dylan at 13 this week". Also says that rocco has forced his way into the team, so maybe ali and rocco are the first choice centers?

Otherwise from that interview and the CHT interview, there was nothing of interest IMO.

We started that mega run in 2023 without Walker who has been playing less minutes (under 40 on avg) this year so not too concerned right now, hoping for an upgrade of signing to strengthen the attack though, this is like hiding a million in the bathroom forfeiting interests of investment gigs lol

Oh nah mate not doubting you although i do apperciate the source. More that i find it real weird how the assistant coach is saying one thing to the media while webster is saying another.
But to that, bunty did look surprisingly light on his feet and really good in the preseason. And if they are moving Demetric into lock cover, then bunty to cover the role he was is not a bad shout. Would be interested to know how he looked in NSW cup, as i have not really watched anything but highlights for those games personally.

Haven’t dug in, but Walker at his his best is a great player. Big part of 23, and from memory saved us a bit in 24.

But it’s 25 now. The teams changed and so has the personnel. I just don’t see Walker being crucial to our team or season.

Oh ok. I thought you had added the stats in to make a point about his contribution dropping it something. SJ rates him highly for what he bring and we don't seemingly have anyone that fits his skill set to replace him. Be interesting to see how the next few games and season plan out now

didn't we once have to play Souths in Perth at midnight NZT? Not an excuse for losing that game but still showed complete lack of awareness by NRL.

Doesn't necessarily have to be a carbon copy of Walker to sit on his throne.

He is a prop but there is a game model someone wrote about in here where West's use a 3 prop thingo with one being a prop playing at 13. Adds muscle but not necessarily ball playing skill.
