I recall seeing people quote Webster saying RTS needs work or still has a lot of work to do learning centre. Also a few habits to remove. That is good to read as it means we have high standards.

Today it kind of looked like. He may still need work but the work on the field is still pretty good while he is learning.

May need to work on his setting up of his winger. Looks like we may see a lot of dummies as it is safe and he runs instead or looks back in field.

Was a weird stat early on when he had done 4 runs and was the leading metre gainer. Even not wanting him to be a work horse he ends up high on the stats.

Solid performance for the boys...all the boys with NRL experience went well. RTS had a good return and looks comfortable at centre. Think the fact that Jacko Ford played most of the game says he may not see much NRL time this year. Metcalfe was good in patches. Ali is a beast on attack and will end up taking the right centre spot at sometime this year. Our backline is absolutely stacked for the first time since the early 2000s. Bunty and Ale were solid, and some of these young forwards like Halasima and Tuponuia, Tss and Laban will push for spots later in the year. Thought the Zyon Maiu’u send off was the right call, unfortunate as the tiger was propelled into him beacuse of the force of the Going tackle, but it was shoulder direct to head. Seriouslt think both out teams are going to be top tier this year.
