🤖 AI Summary

📝 Summary:

Warriors fans express relief at defeating the Dragons to secure a top-4 finals spot, though the win is widely criticized as ugly and unconvincing, with members #7 #8 #33 calling it one of the club's worst victories. Concerns dominate discussions about inconsistent player form—Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck earn praise for strong carries #58 #34, while Jackson Ford, James Fisher-Harris, and Pompey face scrutiny for errors and penalties #54 #71 #87. Broader team challenges include inefficient attacking structures #24 #42, questionable bench rotations #46 #60, and doubts about playoff competitiveness against elite teams #23 #71. Despite the criticism, one member #114 argues the Dragons were resurgent opponents and highlights defensive resilience in the final quarter, crediting improved middle-forward efforts. Others debate Backline experimentation #80 #126, though consensus remains that the win's significance outweighs its flaws for finals qualification #15 #53.

I am pleased that we started to sort our defence out again in that game which is what won it for us.

Before that we have not had the ability to withstand repeat sets which has been fundamentally why the team has slid so badly.

Also a lot of the turn overs that we made were from people that we can at least not repeat so many next time (our Captaina and Leka).

I am pretty happy. Who cares what it looked like, we had one job and we did it.

Ford could have been pulled at the 55th minute mark for all his shenanigans.
Way earlier. His string of handling errors and penalties were completely derailing us.

We know Ford has these games in him where he is just completely diabolical in every aspect. But for Webby to not identify it happening and pull him earlier is bad bad coaching, especially with bench numbers advantage we had on them after their HIA's

JFH was almost just as poor. He needs to lift. Any other marquee signing with form as poor as his would be copping it a lot heavier.

Pompey is back in his non-contract year form. Way too casual from him in the first half. Can't wait for next year when we have a Berry/Kayliss starting center combination.

TSS stood out for me. Played really well. I didn't really expect that from him with so little experience. Tanah seem better once he started taking the line on. Seems a real confidence player. He might get better if he starts next week.
This also must be the first game where there was not people constantly moaning about DWZ. I know RTS made more meters than him but he ran with venom. Leka looks like he is going through a mini slump which is not unexpected with young players. He will come back better.
Demi deserves a start next week. Maybe for Ford. Much prefer Ford on the bench instead of watching him flaying on the ground like an epileptic with tourettes at the 60th minute.
