Tore thus the Townsend 40/20 then made a try saving tackle

How is CNK not in trouble for folding Young’s head in half lol

9 days is a long time, so maybe there is a chance RTS is right for this one if the tear isn't as bad. Either way, probably best to rest him to air on the side of caution. Bring Berry in for RTS and shift Pompey to the wing. I wouldn't change the other edge at all, even though that is Berry's preferred side because of the nice combinations they are starting to develop.

We have the better pack, so I back us to overpower them over the full 80 and go 3-1 into the bye. But we can't take them lightly, they aren't the walkovers they were last year.

Even minor tears are a couple of weeks. I’m curious if Rocco does come in if he shifts Ali to left centre as we’ve never really seen Rocco play on the left

My first thoughts are this....

1 T Tuaupiki
2 A Leiataua
3 R Berry
4 A Pompey
5 C N Klokstad
6 C H Tavita
7 L Metcalf
8 J F Harris
9 W Egan
10 M Barnett
11 K Capewell
12 M Niukore
13 E Clark

14 D Walker
15 J Ford
16 D Vaimauga
17 L Halasima

18 M Harper

My only negative would be that out of that back 5, you'd have 4 players playing a new position in the backline for the first time this year.

Probably worth trailing at some point, but imo this is a great chance to go 3-1 heading into the bye, so I'd really be trying to keep things as simple as possible with minimal changes and disruptions

Nine day turn around for RTS could happen if it were a hamstring strain.

A tear needs weeks for tissue repair.

Having said that, as far as I am aware Webster doesn't have MRI scanners in his eye balls so we should ignore all the talk of tears until the scans are done.

Id be cautious with RTS. He did his hammy last year too and doesnt need to be rushed. Id say maximum 4 weeks he out. With the bye after Tigers I would play him round 6.

Had a look at nrl.com doesnt seem to have anything on Taines report so im assuming he cleared.

Make shift, have Pompey left wing and Ali left center and Berry right center. Could have ali at wing but id keep him and develop him.

MGT isn't top 30 so don’t think he can play? Otherwise he could have played.

Either way I just want to see Berry back in top sode and hopefully after can see Ali x Rog combo

And that would be? 😏
Pretty clear that Harper was signed because the club realise we are thin on outside backs in an injury scenario.

Also pretty clear that the club did the maths and worked out that a cheap Harper option for all his faults cannot be worse than their Kosi experiment which was trialled to the enth degree and failed this season.

The signing of Harper was the death knell in Kosi's NRL future.
