My biggest take away was Healey has to be in 17. His passing needs a little work, but he is so quick out of dummy half and the try he scored was a perfect example of how dangerous he is.

Sprinted out anr started that attack. His support play and switching hands was quality. What an upgrade on Freddie and Roache. Defends well and his support play is top shelf.

Often dragged defenders in when he sniped from dummy half and fed a great ball, can see he was a half at some stage of his career. Good offload too.

I only got to watch the second half.

A few things on that game. The halves were combining often like a traditional style instead of being stuck on one side of the field.. Boyd was doing a lot of organising. Also was playing both sides of the field. A similar way to hell Metcalf was playing in first grade.

From what I saw of Ale before he went off he looked pretty good. Nice late footwork before the line.

Laban looks in good shape.

Good to see Berry getting some minutes in and the try involvement.

I don't get why we aren't seeing pasikala play FB while Tuaupiki is in grade.

If pasikala is a future FB then play him over Doyle. There is a huge decision on CNK coming up and if tain is given the top job over him then we need pasikala possibly stepping up to cup and NRL in the next two seasons, why not test him now while we can?

Put kosi back at club land, what an absolute waste of time when we have Kali, Pasikala and Amituanai.

Pasikala has some improving to do IMO to get to cup standard and Doyle hasn't done anything wrong there. Got to earn your place

I really don't care that he learns in cup, I'm not at all worried about results in cup.

If he can learn at that level now then that will benefit the club going forward.

Otherwise they are going to market for a Fullback next season if CNK is moved on.

I think Pasikala has a fair amount of development to do and is a lot more than two seasons off first grade. Doyle being average tells you where Pasikala is currently imo

Pasikala should be nowhere near this team at the moment. I don't know what's going on with him, but he's had a string of like 3 absolute shocking games in a row. Like some Manu Vatuvei confidence in the gutter type shit. Give Kali a run at fullback. Amituanai on the wing.

You want to promote Pasikala to reserve grade when he's been awful in Flegg? He should be dominating that grade, but he'll struggle to hold his spot if there's not big improvement soon.

Looking at that team I don’t know why we got Harper lol, Berry is returning and Moala’s there, EIT is 18th man and we’ve got Kali and the new signed winger

I feel Charnz is probably out of job next year unless he switches to centre or lock, TMM should really be re-signed to cover 1 and 7 both crucial positions especially if Charnz is out, that way you keep Roger and Dallin on the wings or a gun half if Metcalf is hurt, Boyd seems to be favored as 7 though

He was named on the bench for Cup round 1, but was replaced last minute by Kayliss Fatialofa. I assume he picked up an injury at Captains run or possibly even in the warm up.

Play the games on Friday night also means TV coverage.

A lot is made about us travelling to Australia and the heat and change of time zone. I reckon we schedule the games for when it is coldest. Make them wait like on Mystery Alaska.

I was talking to some of the Dragons age group players last year that played before the NSW Cup. They were saying how cold it was which made me laugh. I doubt we will be able to sign those two in 5 years time.
