That last 15min was my favourite game section to watch and rewatch for ages. He made tough carries. Tough tackles. Everyone was hurting but they including Capewell kept getting up for each other. Ballsy

Same same

Take my hat off to Tuaupiki too for the rough game had in places to have the composure at the end to take that grubber and make a break to release some pressure

That epic counter attack run and the timing was one for the ages, the crowd sensed it and joined in right away

Seems that RTS and DWZ are both officially off the injury list now. Hope that means that both will be playing in the gong this week. That would save us a lot of headaches this week as it means we can shift Capewell back to the back row and Marata back to the front row..

Can't remember where think it might of been Levels podcast were talking about Capewell and the reason he misses tackles is because he's getting off the line or out of marker to create pressure on ball players, so while he may miss a lot of tackles overall he's creating pressure to slow down oppositions and allows us to get numbers in after initial contact to push players back/slow down oppositions which I thought was a good analysis.

Yep exactly what ive been noticing. Same with kick chases, he's often first guy there to put pressure on the ball carrier but will result in coming off the tackle if its 1v1. But a good job done only to get the bad stat recorded against you.

Slade Griffin mentioned if RTS passes his fitness test today, he will play on Saturday
Id assume he goes into the center role again. Not that he should be center for more than this game. But it does allow us to move capes back to 2nd row and Marata back to prop. Shifting minimal people, and RTS has played there before for a full year.

Then you'd just drop bunty off the bench? Mainly because I still want Laban to get some game time.

Would assume he fills that role for the next 3 rounds until Ali gets back?

I'd trust Capewell at centre again despite the pain of letting those Cowboys tries through. I think having DWZ and Roger back on the wings is the most settled approach in my opinion.

Not a jab at Taine at all just he has to make way for incumbents.

Halasima keen on a premiership here

Pretty f*cking cool that Taumalolo and Fifita have almost singlehandedly revived the Pacific Islands rugby league - for someone like Leka who has the world at his feet to say he's repping Tonga from day one.

If we think Tonga and Samoa are looking good now, imagine what they'll be like in 10 years.
