General Your 2025 team

Agreed. TMM was very negative and lagging behind the play not offering a left side option. Improved when he went to 7.
Felt we put all our eggs in the SJ/ Metcalf combination and when Metcalf broke his leg we ignored the left side and went to SJ even more.

it seemed like we had no set options for the left and they seemed an unsettled combination with TMM; Capewell; RTS and Montoya all looking lost early in the season on that side.

So was it TMM or was it our coaching and combinations?

When we swapped TMM to 7 he looked a different player with Webster even seeming surprised at what he was capable of.

unless CNK or Berry changed their name, you've gotten yourself lost in this conversation
He does have a point, my judgement isn’t basis if they played internationals or not. If anything not playing internationals and coming in fresh is an advantage.

People have been putting CNK over Berry in centre but with some of his recent performances I find it hard to justify that, he has looked gassed. Not sure if its been to many games since coming back to first grade in 2023 or what.

I’ll happily eat my words if he comes back next year and round 1 looks like he did in 2023 but I worry the injury and schedule has taken its toll.

If CNK was to play Centre which side would it be? All 4 of his appearances at Standoff this year were on the left & he played left Centre, albeit not at an ovetly high standard, at the 2022 World Cup.
With his late scratching vs the Dolphins (& his intended partner, Pompey, comfortable on both sides) we didn't get any indication of where Webster had him in his plans.
Berry has been mediocre whenever he's played on the left so it's not a straight case of CNK vs Berry as some are making it out to be because Berry is an out & out right sided player

To be honest, all this CNK vs Berry is basis we all be believed Ali should be playing and from what Ive seen he favours left centre (in my opinion but I cant speak for everyone just my vibe of the reason)

EDIT - Had a quick look appears that Ali can do either, not sure on his preference but seemed to do left mostly.

Didn't CNK get a game at right centre this year for the Warriors? Was it the last game against Sharks or one prior to that?

Stopgap with Berry and Pomps injured, not necessarily an indication of Webby's longterm masterplan. Or is it?
Dunno, was just replying to the if he played centre which side would it be question. And the other part is at fullback he heavily favoured hitting the right side in attack, though that could have been more to do with SJ and gameplan.
