Concerned over the balance with our lock/13. Walker does an adequate job but felt he was doing more in attack with less minutes.

With our halves struggling for creativity we’ve needed Walker to step up with his x-factor, but it has disappeared with more minutes.

I feel we still need to get that balance right.

Dont see it happening this season or even possible next.

Just finished watching the replay. Game was a pass, but fuck me.

RTS went off for a lifting tackle that didn't go beyond the horizontal because it could have become dangerous. Which the refs boss came out and said was the correct call

Since then Wahs players have been tipped over the horizontal and tonight actually properly tipped over on to his head. No sin bins.

Really exemplifies that the Wahs have to play by different rules to other teams.
This is what shits me sometimes and what plenty of punters (aussies) don't get. Their good teams can do well at around 95% where we will always have to perform at 110% to do well. And I'm not just talking about referring.

How many other teams have games ending at midnight? How many lose whole training/recovery days due to travel? How many have had their lower grades eviscerated due to a pandemic, effectively starting from scratch? How many teams barely leave their state let alone country yet get 2 byes before we get our first? It's no wonder we push shit uphill year after year

Nearly all that you mention is just part of being in an Aussie based competition, so we either deal with it or don’t participate. None of those issues seemed to hold us back last year. But agreed, it’s definitely tougher for us than any other club. The bye schedule - clearly best to have them when you have the most injuries but no one can predict that ahead of the season start, and a bye in round 27 would be welcomed by any team playing finals. As for the ref thing, all fans believe their club is hard done by, and I do think some like to ref to maximise the drama, i.e. keep the losing team in the game or not blow penalties when there’s a chance of golden point (or in the case of us vs Manly, blowing a penalty to get to golden point). However, I still see no evidence of anti-Warriors bias.

If we don’t like it we could create our own comp in NZ with NZ refs and favourable times aye… 🤔

That being said we saved their comp during covid so they owe us a premiership

Sorry to say this but RTS really stifles the fluidity and flow of our back line.

He is literally a one man band with no ability to connect with the line and set up moves for the outside backs.

Compared to CNK he is the reason are backline is so bad this season. A centre and fullback are key points in the line. The ball stops with him so his best spot is WING. Is he the reason the Warriors have been so poor in the past???????

Happy to debate this will RTS lovers. 😉

The Tigers were brave and made efforts on efforts all game. With such a young side in a club dealing with so much turmoil I thought they played tough.

As for the Wahs, no one played poorly, there were clunky executions in the spine where RTS was the standout. My major question was why was there no one providing an offloading option for AFB. On reflection I do not recall ane offloads.

Good result but too long taken to secure the points.
Not having players ready for offloads has killed us a lot this year. AFB and Barney both get themselves ready for an offload, see nobody there and have to take the tackle.

The amazing DWZ try only happened because after making his pass he kept going.

RTS is not at his best. That was pre rugby.

Fullback. Bench or 18th man. Or copy Aitken and be a nuggety back row sub

Even at his best he was a one man show.
How many try assists have you seen him set up over this career ? I really can’t recall any yet CNK I recall a ton of try assists from his last season and this year also
At his best he carried the team and the responsibility of the team. That wasn't being a one man show in my opinion. It was trying to carry the club to success
