The thread analyses the Warriors' narrow 18-20 loss to the Dolphins, emphasizing frustration over defensive lapses in the final minutes despite a depleted squad. Key themes include divided opinions on player efforts—Roger Tuivasa-Sheck #73 received widespread praise for dominant carries while critical penalties by Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and questionable inaction from Leka Halasima #395 drew ire for contributing to the collapse. A balanced perspective #164 highlights the team's resilience given injuries to stars like Barnett and Metcalf, but ultimately criticizes late-game decision-making under pressure. User analysis #321 identifies systemic defensive failures during the Dolphins' match-winning play. Laban's season-ending injury from Kaufusi's tackle sparked outrage over the NRL's lenient suspension #385. Coach Andrew Webster faced scrutiny for conservative tactics—notably opting not to take penalty shots to extend the lead—though some defended the strategy given personnel limitations #397.

More chance you pumping yourselfIn typical Wahs fashion watch us pump the dogs next week 12+
some of the plays we had on attack where brainless they had 12 players FFS !!! spread the ball ..but no greeedy runs to nothing .. then last few minutes in D players just holding back stop the fucking attacking play least get into their lineI dont think the boys ever believed they could win that game
50/50 call he scores or we go for a goal line drop out, I have no issues, I even like running it on the last to a corner, gives the other team their first on the 10 mtr.I will only say this once so I don't bang on about it. The major issue with our red zone attack is Erin Clark wasting one tackle every set to try to score a try all by himself by barging over. He does it on the 5th tackle then suddenly it is our 6th tackle and we have to kick. He has white line fever.
Isn't that what Ford got done for?On the plus side we didn't get done for any roll balls tonight.
Yeah I'm not sold on either 6 & 7 we saw tonightWatched our halves closely and both had reasonable games but easy to see the difference between Cup and NRL standard.
Did he? I didn't notice it. If he did than bugger.Isn't that what Ford got done for?
Of course its not. Since 1987 I've been calling it finals footy. Because 5 - 6 weeks before the finals we start seeing teams fall off or go up levels to make the play-offs. Sometimes that last 5 - 6 weeks before finals footy is when we have seen some of the best ever footy. The intensity of teams fighting to stay with the top of the pack is good viewing. So for me personally, Around now is finals footy like lol. It's not the finals
I tend to agree. Did the coach? Felt like it was a pre game speech of go out and enjoy yourself, play some footy. Then we hit the lead and it was shut up shop. Love to know who made the call not to take the two. And who made the call to die with it on the last. Even if it's 5 meters out from their line it's dumb because they start on tackle zero. You make a little kick and they might make a mistake under fatigue and if they don't you are in the same place and they are in tackle one. I thought both those two decisions were poor by us.I dont think the boys ever believed they could win that game
yep 30 years of being mediocre hurtsI don't mind losing close games. I hate reading other clubs fans calling us -once were's & never will be's - every year. Because , the last couple of games proves their points. We fucking suck at finals footy.
Idk man, I thought Boyd was pretty average. Rinse and repeat shitty bombs and barely ran the ball. Things SJ was crucified for. I thought TMM was a lot betterHappy to eat humble pie over Tanah Boyd, he played a great game. TMM always threatening and was great as well. We were the better team with so many outs but dolphins did to us what we did to knights. Thought a lot of players really put their hand up despite the loss. Jackson Ford had his best game, needs to remember to stay on his feet playing the ball but don’t think anyone had a bad game
Exactly bro!yep 30 years of being mediocre hurts
To think at the start of the season we were hearing discussions about Metcalf vs Tmm.Yeah I'm not sold on either 6 & 7 we saw tonight
