Mentioned it before but it was the first time I’ve thought we’ve created room for DWZ to score in the corner in ages. He’s been getting bundled into touch and it’s looked clunky right through the season. I thought a big part of opening it up and creating room was Tuaupiki chiming in, much like CNK did in 2023. For whatever reason it hasn’t been there, I like Tuaupiki at fullback and what he’s doing

Taine’a speed and Pompey’s sweeping passes = Make Wahs 2023 Again!

I am fine with players standing in line especially we had an extra man, imagine a couple rushed out and Kodi etc carve them up in the middle we’d be like WHY DIDNT YOU STAY IN LINE MF!!!

Problem was half the team crowded to the right like 5 year olds that created the overlaps

Interesting note on the Maroon Observer whereby he reckons someone in the crowd shouted out forward during that last passage of play and the line stopped. Fins reacted quicker and got the lollies.

"Dolphins 20 defeated Warriors 18. Speaking of cheating, on the game winning play, two people (probably another dipshit trainer, maybe a dumbass fan, we'll never know) yell out “FORWARD!” The Warriors on the Dolphins’ left come to a complete halt, not realising it hasn't come from the referee. The Dolphins hesitate but respond faster, get the ball to the other side of the field and Isaako wins the game. Sucked in."

He also makes some great comments on the Panthers trainer episode. A good read.

Interesting to the above
Another.point is Roger jammed in 20 metres off his wing leaving isaako unmarked
They threw the ball over rogers head to the unmarked winger and it was good night nurse
Chalk this up to being due to multiple issues one of them being leka one being Roger and now one being someone yelling forward apparently

Eh? Roger was just the poor sod on the end of the line after it had over compensated and everyone had slid over to the right. Of course he has to come in.....he's not going to leave a 20 metro gap between him and his centre.
Not keeping our spacing and too many jamming one side of the field is what Webby was alluding to in the link above.
Nice to hear they review those situations and identify the issue....I always like how Webby will take it back to how did they let them get down there in the first place....some poor line speed and that penalty from Dal definitely hurt. Lack of recognizing that left edge was going to get caught short and some non urgent cover (check out Te Maire) Fans tend to single out one player in these instances....it's usually never just the way tho

Would be easier to identify who did something right on that final play.

He was marking 3 dolphins if he didn't come in it'd be 3 vs 1 and they score with a group hug
