Us by a few. Or by heaps if we really click.

But I am a Warriors tragic with too many mental scars from the last nearly 3 decades to be completely confident yet and Manly are sneaky buggers that have very often started the season slowly then used us to play themselves into form.
Warriors by 1 will be good enough for me

At least we don't have the moral conundrum Rabbitohs fans have today:
A: Wanting the Rabbitohs to win because, obviously, we're Rabbitohs fans. But that makes JD look good!
B: Wanting the Rabbitohs to lose because that's the final nail in JD's coffin but, shit, we're Rabbitohs fans!

I think we want souths to win this week alongside us. We could go up to second this week if other results go our way.

How strong is this wind? Kicking game is gonna be super important today. We have a great long kicker in SJ but DCE is just as good. I'm glad SJ is in this game. Gotta make possession count when the wind is at our back.
I'm about 10 mins from the stadium out East. Wind has calmed down a bit but gonna be a wet field. Still cloudy with a bit of Sun at times.

Toughest comp in the world always feels tougher when you're about to play Manly.
Nerve'ometer is idling at low Rpms, the Warriors are the bad men in this one, a miserable trip to sub Antartic industrial Penrose.

Pissy windy cold Hua of a day.

The Warriors will sap the life outta Manly and grind them out in a dour strangle fest for purists. You gotta take your penalty shots on goal in these conditions when the kicks are favorable, run it when the penalties are wider out.

Manly bring an expansive high risk game, this is a styles make fights clash.

I think the conditions might suit us better. Manly's expansive style is much more appropriate for dry weather footy. We've had practice winning grindy games- ie the canberra and newcastle wins. Manly's wins have been in relatively high scoring expansive games (bunnies rd 1 and penrith rd5). From what other posters have made clear, the conditions won't allow for that.

No idea how this will play out so my baseless prediction is:

SJ Capewell Berry and DWZ to all get tries

Montoya to get a double off the goodness that is having RTS and CNK linking and running lines to free up Montoya.

CNK to score. What if.....?

In theory this should be game of the round, and a good litmus test for both teams.

Can't see us pulling away, that just doesn't really happen for us vs Manly.

If there are no weird injuries/HIA issues then this will be a knife edge game.

4 points either way, with SJ and DCE punting the shit out of the ball if metres are hard to come by.

Hold the ball please Jazz and Jackson.

Defence wins games like this. I'll repost this. Our average points conceded per game is 12 pts. To put this in context, the lowest number of pts manly have conceded in a game this year is 14.

What gives me confidence is that we are building every week. Tohs was a team that are bad and we needed to put away and we did. They had a huge streak against us and we broke it.

We need to beat these contenders like Manly and show we are the new threat to the comp.

Then we need to beat Panthers, Broncos, Storm.
