We did pretty well backing up against the chooks after the high of thumping Manly, a game that we were massive $3 underdogs to win, just like this game. Admittedly Manly ex-post have underperformed, but at the time many pundits were calling them premiership contenders after round 1. Our only two losses have been to other top 4 sides. So I'd suggest we deserve to be where we are.

We definitely deserve our spot.

The main issue this week is that B sides get up for a game then lack consistency the following week.

We shall see.

whoever is running the Warriors defence is a rock star in our coaching team.

for me would probably taine back at wing, kosi to the other wing and pompey back at centre, Im a berry fan but I dont think at this stage Pompey deserves to lose his spot. Maybe when DWZ is back we look at Berry again just cause their combo is so good.

What's he done to deserve that? 8 appearances now and zero line breaks or tries

Did well in his opportunities last year so we should know how good he is.
Might not be your cup of tea in reserves from what your watching .
I been watching too.

Players lift when elevated to topside.
made a good fist of it against the Broncos .
Haven't seen Haas stopped in his tracks like that before.
His play on and off the ball is suited more as a starter than Leka .
Leka is great at any time,as a starter teams can prepare for him.

Wouldnt it be better to carry Healey on the bench. Can slot straight into 9 & also cover the halves .LM could easily cover FB if needed & cause less disruption.Your thoughts Noitall?
I read someone else suggesting that TMM came onto the bench as a result of Capewell playing Centre meaning we needed outside back cover on the bench. I can understand that thought process. If Capewell starts at Second Row though then he's the outside back cover & TMM would be surplus to the 17 if Webster is confident in either CNK or Tuaupiki covering the halves in the event of an injury to either half or Egan.
Personally I think the sooner they give Healey a go the better
Still seeing Egan as really important to our halves and how they perform, so his time off the field needs to be limited I reckon with Webster recognising he needs a spell. My thought process was along the lines of what TMM has been doing in nsw cup and whether that could translate into first grade with his playmaking skills. The fact such a good player as Healey can’t find the bench yet speaks volumes to our depth at the moment

I think it’s a fair question. Definitely didn’t make the most of the opportunities last year. Averaged under 30 run metres per game l and was dragged in the Titans game that he got a start in for defensive lapses.

Agreed that he looked much better defensively against the Broncos but needs to start showing some ability in first grade, as Leka and Demetric did at the same age (or younger)
