Why on earth would you want Kini when you have Tuaupiki in the ranks?
One smaller explosive players enough without dropping size all over.
BangBro's said when CNK's contract is up. Kini will be 23 years old then & Tuaupiki would be 28 years old & that explosiveness is likely to be on the decline. Pretty easy decision between the 2 players with the Kiwis incumbent Fullback winning by a landslide

Wonder when it will be announced

That statement from the club reeks of frustration and disappointment about all the effort they've put in to this young fulla, do we reckon we could see an early release so the club doesnt put any more time and effort into him?

Sounds like he's been on the bench this year so wouldn't be an integral part of the team atm

With PNG starting up 2028, and Perth 2027 (reportedly), we need to think outside the box with signings as well as developing our juniors. With 2 teams coming in over 2 season we will lose some guys. Big ups to the management getting the juniors teams set up last season, so by 2027 the cream of the current batch of 18 year olds will be 3 year+ of NSWRL experience, and able to provide NRL depth, with a top 17 bolter or 2 hopefully.

A guy like Gannon is a bit of risky play without the potential of too much damage IMO, played England Lions at 18, massively rated over there with ability to play 6 and back row - which sounds like a NRL ball playing lock. Which when you look at Leka, Laban, Demitric, that's not something their skillset covers. Can see him being a potential bench utility next season at some stage. I just hope the money isn't silly, and we aren't giving a Lewis Dodd contract. Nicholson has looked NRL level straight away. We should be paying for a bench guy, not a starting back rower. Doesn't matter how much cash we have in our pocket.

If we have signed him I'd push for it the earlier he gets here the better
