I do wonder though, if AFB was considered toxic to the team, how someone like Brown would be thought, of given his being shopped around, player options, etc

I think most of them would be stoked to have an elite player coming to the club.
Is he elite? I might be getting a bit carried away there… but anyway… the players all expect their agents to be acting in their best interests- it’s the fans that get upset and if he does just wanna come home I don’t think anyone would begrudge him that?
Well except maybe your mate tmm coz he’d probably take his spot haha.
I think he’ll stay with the eels anyway but I don’t think toxicity would be a concern if he did land here.
I feel like he could become a leader here.

I don’t think the sharks are willing to give him the big salary upgrade he is after, and would be looking to use that money to upgrade their fullback.
