Nicotine and alcohol are as addictive as cocaine and probably ruin more lives, there's so much hypocrisy within the law. Meth is just a poison though imo, according to water samples NZ's meth use is out the gate. I was way more gutted about Manu than this.
I’m no advocate for anything, but my view is if you can control yourself for whatever vice not to take over your life, I don’t begrudge. Alcohol and nicotine that you referred to are readily available to someone suffering an addiction relating to the misuse, so with guidelines set I would be comfortable to see alterations made to rules and laws in such areas. We’re talking about something different here in supply, but there’s a market whether you see that unfortunately or not

Yep, as a lifelong Warriors fan I feel I'm in no position to judge anyone else's hobbies, I'm sure I sound like a crackhead to the neighbours on gameday.

Everyone makes mistakes and I'm sure Koopu is feeling the pinch learnt his lesson being in the spotlight and all.
He deserves a second chance just like all of us.
Yes but there’s different levels of ‘mistakes’. Something such as supply is a conscious and calculated decision rather than a spur of the moment impulsiveness.
Decisions carry consequences, sadly he’s likely to have to face up to them.

Consequences are definitely part of it, but he still deserves his shot at redemption oneday.

It seems we can catch arrest and imprison suppliers and the odd importer, even a few mules. But bugger me whoever manufactures it is a gun at never being in the news.

*Edit.....not to mention those who profit from the industry.

Yep ownership is part of it I'm sure just like Manu has can take years of time to bring back trust.
Yep sometimes there’s a bit too much ‘understanding’ and excuses made for criminal activity. Sure we aren’t all saints and I’m sure all of do something we aren’t supposed to from time to time. However, in this case if you are prepared to take the risks involved to make the quick buck then you’ve also gotta be equally prepared for the consequences of being caught

There is no place illegal drugs in society so if found guilty he should face full punishment
As the great Robert Johnson said, when you're down at the crossroads and the Devil asks you to choose between legal and illegal, the dumbest idea in the world can seem plausible if your judgement is already clouded by cocaine.
Allegedly, according to his lawyer.
