SJ with the clutch play to win it at the death. Glad that he could get that moment. What a story man!

The boys put in a shift tonight and deservedly finish the season with a win. Plenty of adversity and we had that fight in us which brought so much joy last year.

It’s been there in parts for most games this season. Iron out a few areas and we’ve still got a team there to make a run in 25!

Let’s gone!

Also for anyone who doesn’t think reffing matters and you have to play above it just have a look at how some grub of the green helps in the modern game.

tight games are literally deciding by referring and we’ve lost our fair share of tight games.

Imagine if we had some of these breaks in those close games we lost. Could have literally changed our entire season.

Referring absolutely decides games in the NRL.

Taine at fullback Charnze at centre......this is the way.

Good end a disappointing season and once again stuffing one up the Sharks on their turf.....always a thing of beauty.

While certain aspects of Jazz could be frustrating he was always the one guy you could never doubt for effort......much appreciated Junkyard dog.

And im quite comfortable stating Addin as the number 1 all time Warriors prop.....had the Steve Price metres as well as the ability to initiate ruck speed. and a strike weapon close to the line...... going to miss that little shimmy and late footwork and surge at the line.....going to doubly suck seeing him do that for the Sharks.

Have said enough about SJ in the SJ thread but i think 2nite was a perfect example of the clutch gene people have been talking about. First and foremost u have to want to be the dude with the ball in his hands at those times......Shaun has always wanted to be that guy, poor old Chanel i dont think truly wanted that responsibilty.

Was a thread somewhere earlier this week with someone asking what a game manager is.......i know he hasnt done it nowhere near enough this season but that 2nd half performance by SJ was the best example of that we've probably had this year.. Had his fingerprints on everything, was taking the right options and dictating the games tempo and flow......thats the challenge for all our halves next season....its a big ask i think on what we have available......was happy to see him wind back the clock and go out in this fashion.

Well played sir, thanks for the memories.......Masters Touch is calling.....have a Bay of Plenty team down here with a spot open for ya
