I loved watching those first few sets, and seeing how we get ahead metre by metre, only to be gutted by the poor right side defence (rts....) and horrible slip by cnk.... and then our patience ... we're definitely better than them... they have no structure in the middle at all

18 points is the most we've scored in any half this season. Tick.
Our right side is looking a bit off due to RTS playing his 3rd position in 5 games. He just needs to not push in and make hero plays. Like DWZ, trust in Berry.
CNK had a rough 10 minutes but has since played like the WARRIOR we know he is.
Egan is soooooooo much better than Lussick, why did we even re-sign Lussick....should have looked elsewhere.
TMM is quiet but he doesn't need to do anymore than be a second option. Don't overplay it.

Now, I hope we score first after 2nd half and we get to see Laban have a good 25 minutes.

Geepers our superstars are standing up.

Tohu has been a monster in defence, Souths cannot breath, Tohu has been hunting in the scramble defence.

Barney has been his twin, using offensive leg speed to get our line speed up there to top four pace and stop the Rabbits having time to run their usual beautiful set plays.

Both were played a whole half with Egan.

Webster has a plan today.

Expect Laban to ride the bench until the game is out of Souths reach and to enjoy a safe entry.

I thought its was his standard cross ruck no looker, but saw it started with the dummy to a lead runner, then the fake to the strong side, to finish with the cross ruck no looker to the inside runner.

Absolute work of art.
I used to be so jealous of the Storm and their clinical set plays when they used to have the Smith, Slater, Cronk combos.

That try to SJ bought a tear to my eye. Thought I could only dream of a Warriors team capable of that beauty.

Not wanting to bag any of our players but he is not getting involved
It depends what you mean by involved. Last thing you want is someone coming in and overplaying their hand. But I know what you mean, our big question mark this year is having enough attacking weapons to create points against the good sides.

I'm still really happy with what I am seeing in his first game

As predicted, pretty clunky at times and that right side defence for us is looking pretty average.

All in all tho, I thought we settled in to the grind really well and from about that 15th minute we started to dominate.

My most frustrating play of the game so far was Jazz dropping it with the line open. Absolute coach killer. And as a result of that you can see they're now trying to rake the ball out as the refs will see him as a loose carrier. That last knock on they raked it out but Jazz made his own bed in that instance.

Maaan how fucking grimey is Latrell. And then questioning the ref like there's no way he did anything wrong.

I thought Ale looked really good so far too actually. Rocco also looking great, and of course the usuals with SJ, Charnz, Roger and Wade
