2009 was one I remember getting over optimistic about, three preseason wins, then 2 wins to start NRL.

Yeah I remember we got hyped up massively on the footy show after those couple of games and with the return of Stacey. Then it all fell apart

I wonder why no one is named in jersey number 19. Does that perhaps mean the player who was going to be wearing that jersey pulled out late before team naming with an injury?

CHT and Boyd our halves for trial 2 and starting the year in NSW cup.

One other thing form me. I would have loved Ali to start on the left so he was paired with RTS. It would worry me defensively which is why Pompey is likely there. When on attack though it gives us a left edge that would trouble teams.

Exciting to see Jett get a bit of a run, even if it's 10 minutes. The more he's exposed to playing with and against top players the better for us.

Looks like a defence focused team. Reminds me of Ivan's days, I always thought his teams were a bit conservative and robotic, how wrong I was.

Makes a big difference.
His left foot step on the right wing will allow him to beat players by stepping towards the sideline.
On the left wing he will be stepping back in field and potentially engaging with the cover defenders drifting wide.
