Bunty has apparently dropped 10kg over the preseason

Would love to see him come back into consideration for team selection. Always looked for him to add something to his game like some late footwork or an offload, which he does have in his game but I’ve thought leg drive and post contact metres could be somewhere Bunty could excel in?

No I don’t think so? Perhaps has something to do with it but perhaps respected for his hard work. He’s regressed a bit defensively since his first season around the club in 2019, and his first grade debut in 2021 but has plenty of input in metres gained on the field, perhaps that’s why the forwards respect him for the work he saves them in carries. Average metres in nsw cup is 131m over big sample, and 122m in first grade so he puts in whatever grade he’s playing. 193cm and 106kg, he’s a big unit
