NRL NRL Naughty chair

Let's be fair, the NRL and the Broncos are very unlikely to be looking at this from a justice POV. They will be thinking "what is the least possible sanction possible we can get away with."

They will know from countless NRL players behaving badly that this will go away when the media attention dies down. And unlike LGBTQ+, racism, misogyny etc. it doesn't come with the social outrage that can really damage the brand's reputation.

You would have expected more from the courts, but not from the NRL/Broncos imho.

But has the nrl/broncos had an impact on the courts decision? Many seem to escape relatively better off than just Joe average. The whole things reeks

Yeah, I'm ok with the 9 weeks. But I'm not with MM 6 weeks and Leniu's 8 weeks. Should have been 1-2 at most for those.
Really tough to know? Think once someone has what they expect in their mind, if it’s not met it seems a cop out. Biggest worry for me is I remember looking over at the broncos forum earlier in the year prior to the incident and seeing a poster say there were reports of Mam out pissing it up commonly and why they thought he wasn’t delivering on the field. Now you have a young entitled guy by the looks, not wanting for a wage and largely hasn’t been punished accordingly to the severity of the incident. Unlicensed with drugs in the system crossing over the line paints a bad picture from the get go. Injuries occurred and thankfully for him no loss of life because nobody could have saved him from those consequences. It could go either way for how Mam kicks on I reckon

Have heard from a reliable source that Cobbo got in another domestic type incident and was arrested in the last couple of weeks, amongst telling the officers he wanted to kill himself.

I’ll be livid if we sign him. Guy is an absolute shitfight off the field.

Saw this on the cowboys forum yesterday. Wouldn’t surprise me if true, something looked off with Cobbo all season

I see TC Robati is due to play in a 9s tournament on the Gold Coast at the end of the month. Did he get found not guilty of rape? Online search shows he was supposed to go on trial last July but no mention of the outcome

This Richard Agar thing has put more focus on the club after a disappointing round 1 performance.

The NRL media don't talk about the Warriors much. They would be talking about them as the Vegas games get reviewed. Now we will get more attention.

It would have been good coming out of the Vegas weekend if the only issues were the Raiders scuffle and inflatable bat incident. Especially, after Stuart went on about Blair being an inexperienced coach. Then the only player issues during Vegas came from the experienced coaches side.

True

You’d have to question what warranted the coach to grab him by the throat. I can’t imagine it was completely unprovoked
Allegedly a bit of bad blood from his time in England - journalists aren’t exactly saints but can’t really be doing what’s alleged as a representative of the club.
Gotta also note there’s an investigation into it so have to reserve judgement until all the facts are on the table

We have gone from 2023 if we lose our sponsor will tweet about the refs cheating to 2025 if we lose out assistant coach will strangle you.
