Wasn't Paul McCartney's brother in the group? Some trainspotter will know. The Scaffold eh. What a load of crap they were. Swinging 60's my arse!
He was, that's him in that video. Changed his name though to avoid the embarrassment of being associated with the Beatles. I see Bernie Sanders was in it too, anything for charity.Wasn't Paul McCartney's brother in the group? Some trainspotter will know.

Saw on 9 news he was trying the Shaggy defense.NRL News 2023: St George Illawarra rising star Junior Amone found guilty of hammer attack | Daily Telegraph
St George Illawarra suffered a devastating setback as they look to rebuild the club after five-eighth Junior Amone was found guilty on Wednesday morning of assault charges, leaving him facing jail time and casting doubt on his immediate future in the NRL.
Amone and his father Talatau fronted court on Wednesday morning where a verdict was rendered in relation to an incident that occurred late last year in Wollongong. Amone will remain on bail until December, when he will be sentenced.
The Dragons immediately responded by standing down Amone from all club duties.

“The Dragons acknowledge the guilty verdict handed down to player Talatau Amone in Wollongong Court today in relation to an assault last November,” a club statement said.
“As a result of this outcome, Amone has been stood down from all club activities until further notice.
“The club will make no further comment at this time as court proceedings continue.”
Amone was initially stood down under the no-fault stand-down policy when he was charged earlier this year but the NRL lifted the ban before the season began and he went on to make 19 appearances for the Dragons this season.
He was set to be a pivotal piece of the club’s planned revival under incoming coach Shane Flanagan, but any plans the Dragons had for Amone are now in disarray, leaving them worryingly short in their halves stocks.
Halfback and captain Ben Hunt sought a release earlier this year following the sacking of former coach Anthony Griffin, despite having two years remaining on his deal at St George Illawarra.

Although that was rejected and the Queensland and Australian representative looks likely to play for the Red-V next year, he has made no secret his desire to return to Queensland.
The Dragons have, however, released young halves talent Jayden Sullivan to the Wests Tigers on a four-year deal from next season.
Their immediate replacement options to fill the five-eighth role are new signing Kyle Flanagan, who has signed a two-year deal to join his father after leaving Canterbury, and Jack Bird, who hasn’t played in the halves since round 6, 2022.

There are very few current free agent options.
Brandon Wakeham, who played 15 games in the halves for the Wests Tigers, is without a club for 2024.
However, Newcastle utility Kurt Mann, has been linked to Canterbury for next season, as has Chooks utility Drew Hutchison.
Manly utility Kaeo Weekes is expected to sign with Canberra and replace outgoing five-eighth Jack Wighton.
Depending on what happens with Amone, the Dragons may head to the open market and look at some of the big names who are up for grabs from November 1 for the 2025 season.
Penrith’s premiership hero Jarome Luai, Brisbane’s grand final star Ezra Mam, North Queensland’s Origin representative Tom Dearden and Sydney Roosters pair Luke Keary and Joseph Manu headline the list of players off contract at the end of next season.
It also includes Canberra’s Jamal Fogarty, Canterbury’s Toby Sexton, Newcastle’s Tyson Gamble and the Dolphins’ Kodi Nikorima.
MORE TO COME
Don’t forget the child porn as well!I miss the days of the player misbehaviour being more on the embarrassing side after being too drunk.
These last couple on this page are on the really serious side. Rape, murder and an assault with a hammer. Could be some big jail sentences being dished out.
Things were quite quiet for a while like things were improving.
I was going to post this last week but didn't want to scare anyone with dread when they see this thread being updated. It won't matter as much now seeing as there has been some activity.
This covers the case of Trevor Bauer, a Major League Baseball picture who was accused of sexual misconduct and was stood down by MLB for a few years. The issue was recently sorted.
Yes, it is not NRL. But it is worth reviewing with some of our cases that get given the no-fault stand down while they wait to go to court. I understand the bad headlines aren't great for the sports leagues but it also has to balance against the legal process. Remember innocent until proven guilty.
The athletes in our part of the world don't earn as much as they do in America. But they still earn enough that someone may try and plan something for a payout.
