I'm not a fan of Marata in the middle. He just doesn't have the work rate that is required. He is far more damaging on the edge. Ford is far better suited to the middle and routinely makes 150+ meters a game.

I would have laban as the start for capewell if we do this, just think a like for like second rower, leka to start when Marata moves into the front row

Alternatively, the Knights might start to give up now if AOB and his likely successor (one of the assistants) have lost the dressing room. That would force the board's hand in choosing an external successor. Either way, I'm having my popcorn ready for Sunday night.

I mean, when it's out of either him or Capewell for the centre spot maybe you give him the benefit of the doubt.

Looked good at the start of the year on the right, now that Berry's gone it might make sense to give him the chance to make up for his mistakes.

So the options are Capewell, Ali, TMM or Leka .... we will see tonight, and will probably be Capes if we're being realistic - however, it should be Ali's role, he was the first name in that position at the start of the year - would be really interesting to know what the work ons are, cos it's quite major to go from first picked to rehabilitation - the opposite of all the other personnel stories we've heard all year from the wider squad -- man, I just wanna see this guy suceed, was very exciting to have this sort of talent in the centres, something we've lacked forever

And down that list I'd get right in behind TMM or Leka, selections which would signal a wild change in outlook from Webby - which is why we will see Capes there tonight

If Ali is injured, And they stick with Capes in the forwards. I like the idea of CNK at centre. He's our best defensive back. Our fittest also. I just worry about his reads on defense when he has played there. But i know he will do a great job regardless.

Haha nah, I guess for me it's 8 games until finals. I feel the time has passed for experimentation and where possible, we should be trying to build up the players with as many reps as possible, in their best position.

CHT has been one of the form 6s of the comp, and has a huge amount of trys/try assists to his name at 6. I can't see a world where we move him unless we're desperate mid-game.

Maybe something to look at in the off-season though, I think CHT has good distribution and decent short kicking game on top of his great defence. Not a bad shout to train him up so he's capable, as we won't be able to rely on Capewah much past nek year

Ali’s nursing an injury, up until last week he had not played since round 14 in nsw where he played 59m, Ankle niggle i think.
He’ll be back
