I met Bjorn the Brainless, worked in Tony Abbot's office, bought me a beer. He's probably in prison now, best place for him.

No. Went there once for a Warriors game, was the only kiwi in a sea of green viking retards.

Seriously though they're a good crowd really, Raiders fans are some of the nicest you can meet around the nrl grounds. They treated me like a guest of honour in my Wahs jumper, even if they do clap like trained seals at a political rally.
Man, that last line made me spit my cornflakes out 😂

Cheers for the info bro.

Warriors have committed to continue be a Home team for 2025, 2026 & 2027 in Magic Round.
Surely we make enough cash at Mt Smart to not forfeit home ground advantage each year

Don't think pathways are cheap.
Look at the figures quoted for the Panthers, can understand them pushing for changes to the cap. It would be nice to be in that position with a lot of success and wanting to push for changes to sustain that.

For us you need to add the travel costs.

Running the club would have been expensive before. Adding all of the age group sides would increase the clubs' expenses significantly. I watched a video (might have been 6 Tackles with Gus) a while back where Gould said the NRL was picking up the costs as part of helping the club after the pandemic. I don't know if that is true or not, or how long this is happening, or if it is partially subsidized from the NRL. Gould has been gone from the club for a few years now this could all be something that was discussed or he has heard from V'landys or around the NRL.

The main think to me like all of the other talk of changes we have heard over the years. The club sticks to this. Having players coming through at different ages playing for the club and getting used to the travel back and forth to Australia would help prepare them for first grade.

Yeah agree and we will need to wait for at least 5 years until we benefit but likely will be worth it. There are probably other costs that we do not see as well. Things like nutrition for the younger players along with training gear. Most of these kids won't come from rich backgrounds and I wouldn't be surprised if the families are helped as well. I do not mind if we have the home game for many years as this is all paid for by Mark Robinson.

Funny I gave our owner shit about the whole Lodge thing but the reality is that he is the number one fan of the Warriors. Guy is doing everything he can to make us succeed.
