Game’s a sell-out this week! Hopefully everyone actually shows up for a change

I got nothing but good memories of Bunty.Referring to the GOAT Bunty Afoa
Parra played well but there is a reason why they are in the bottom 4 with 2 rounds to go. Like the Tits, they have their moments in attack and can play a good 40-50 mins of footy that can trouble even the best defenses. But they also switch off for large periods of the game which good teams have made them pay for this year. Roosters just weren't patient enough on the weekend to take advantage.Moses and JAC were scary good last weekend. I'm up in the air if that was because the Eels clicked in gear or because the Chooks mega choked.
Probably a bit of both, but holy shit that Chooks error count was shocking.
Yeah, the two games us v tits and eels v chooks played out fairly similarly... the unfavoured team getting off to a hot start and then the favourites trying to wind it back in... difference was that we succeeded and the chooks played like us against the drags, i.e. kept making mistakes etc. ... so that means we're one game further along than the chooks? seems ligitParra played well but there is a reason why they are in the bottom 4 with 2 rounds to go. What we did well against the tits was to play the long game. We didn't try to win the game in the first half and gradually wore them down towards the end, leading to that 32-6 scoreline. We need to do the same against Parra. In their matches against the other top 4 sides, they've been hot for about 40 minutes before falling away in the second half.
Suppose they can't acknowledge it publicly until his next steps are confirmed. Would look silly if they made a song and dance, only for him to resign because someone does their ACL on the weekend.11 years and 145 games for the Warriors
Including through the difficult COVID years
Is there anything planned for this last season home game to acknowledge his contribution now that it seems 100 per cent he won’t be with the Warriors next year
Probably a better comparison are the Parra games against Canberra and the Dogs. In both games they were leading at HT I believe and then got massively run down in the second half. Their offloading game really troubles structured sides like the dogs and us but on the flip side it is high risk which is why they are 14th in set completions. So they will give plenty of chances to the opposition which the chooks just didn't take last week.Yeah, the two games us v tits and eels v chooks played out fairly similarly... the unfavoured team getting off to a hot start and then the favourites trying to wind it back in... difference was that we succeeded and the chooks played like us against the drags, i.e. kept making mistakes etc. ... so that means we're one game further along than the chooks? seems ligit
Not another nail-biter. (a margin of 3 is rare but possible involving field goals in regulation time, in that case Tanner needs to have his kicking boot on and not be stressed out)Warriors by 3
Why is that? I think we play better on a dry track.Probably a better comparison are the Parra games against Canberra and the Dogs. Weather forecasts indicate the surface will be wet and dewey with some showers. Not going to be a night for expansive play which will work to our advantage.
BerryWho is Dylan Brown opposite? I hope it's Pomps. Pomps is a handful for bigger established centres. A converted, slightly built half is another story.
this is good tbh, noting how fragile our right side is i would rather the centre over there be Brown than Penisini
I disagree. Dry tracks benefit faster sides with lots of ball movement like the QLD sides. Wet and dewey tracks should in theory benefit teams like us, penrith and the dogs that prioritize set completion, possession control and kick chase. Why is that? I think we play better on a dry track.
I'd never pick him over the incumbents, except in this situation - his motivation might really spark the team. I'm open to a one week experiment lol
