If I was fatialofa, I’d 100% sign with the warriors. We’re a club on the rise, he can remain at home with his friends and family & there’s every chance he’s a bench first grader in 2027. He’s only 20, so it’s not as if he deserves a spot as it stands & is totally unproven. With Laban & halasima locking down the edges in 2027, he’s a real chance of being the 3rd choice back rower & if one if one of those guys goes down, he’s a starter in a high flying nrl club side.

I also don’t think we need to budge on this guy. Here’s the contract & here’s why you should stay. If you want to move to Aussie for a bigger wicket, go for it. We’re now in a position where we don’t need to drop to our knees and beg players to stay. Here’s the contract & vision, your call, cos we’re not budging.

So Cape might move on in '27 and Marata's transitioning into a middle right now and might not be in '27

It'll be between EIT and Kayliss for that 2nd row bench spot and ya 1 injury happens and both are in the 17. Would be really dumb to move to a lesser club without a guarantee to start (or start as a raw rookie in a crap club), we probably don't need dumb players in the squad if that's the short cut they take lol. Webby has nailed his pathway progression for juniors as long as you are a hard worker

If Kayliss is as good as we all believe him to be, and is willing to do the mahi he'll get a fair few opportunities next year with injuries, suspensions and Origin, before cementing himself as a full time bench forward in 2027, hopefully finishing the year with over 30 career games as a 22 year old. That would be pretty epic.

I can't see him getting a better opportunity than that with any other team

From the manly forum. They’ve been talking about Kayliss Fatialofa for a couple of days now, looks like Crosby has their attention

There probably won’t be any noise until Josh A gets cleared for medical retirement mate. Not much off contract to look at but we can’t forget AFB & Fish were also not supposed to be available.
I'm hearing rumblings about Toby Crosby

It's funny isn't it, generally we are the forum pulling out random reserve grade names to sign from other teams.. They can dream on.

I wonder what type of contract a Crosby or Fatialofa need to be retained, Crosby I would suspect a Development deal (he's not NRL ready yet, wouldn't expect him to be until his minutes increase?), Fat's possibly a bottom tier NRL contract? I think we will have 2-3 spots to fill for next year, and are even short for 2025, so someone needs to be promoted in the next 2 weeks. Pretty juicy carrot to offer someone like Fatialofa if needed.

First of all the Warriors are in the box seat to re sign him.

If he goes, there would have to be an element of him wanting the experience which is fine. There is nothing we can do to stop that, nor should we try.

Money won't be a concern, we can counter any offer other clubs can table if we choose.

I have no concerns on this one. If he goes it won't be on the Warriors.

There’s Jazz over there as someone of some familiarity if he was to head over and would take him under his wing. Warriors offering him a contract is interesting since they obviously want to keep him, going to be a big task for McFadden and the team to figure who to keep and who to let go. Feels like we’re finally becoming a club that’s viewed as competent in our development of players again after one or two false dawns. Wouldn’t surprise me if Walker is a factor in the TMM to eels if there’s any truth, looked like they struck up a bit of a connection
