I heard in an article somewhere he and Nathan Cleary in reaction to Dylan Brown's contracts are in discussions with their agents about examining their realigned market worth. Numbers like $2m were mentioned for those two and alarmingly a resultant lobby to the NRL to lift the salary cap so teams can afford to break the $2M mark.

I had a feeling about KP earlier in the year when I saw him with the Māori side, it seemed the Warriors would be a good fit for all parties/budgets. He is worth the cash.

This is pretty mean if it is bullshit fellas. You've got me 20% hopeful! This forum has been burnt pretty bad by April 1 before.

One thing I thought was certain when Brown signed is that there was no way KP would be there in 2026.
