I'm very interested to see which other players we extend now we are past the November 1 transfer windows.

The fact that neither TMM nor Charnze haven't resigned yet is that a sign they are being moved on and that with Tuapiki extending are we seeing him as our future fullback?

I think releasing Bunty and Kosi is a give in and that they will both be gone end of season and Tohu retiring will definitely free up 3 spaces.

The question remains what happens with Ale, pompey and Walker?

Bunty and kosi, oh go on then! 😎

Abit off topic and not sure if it’s been discussed elsewhere. Do we know or can we find out who the player agents are who represent our players? I’d be interest to see who the majority of agents are that are in the club. There might be a pattern that we could see where x agent manages the majority of warriors players. Would be interesting to see.
Nothing to do with agents but interesting rumour on broncos forum that John Bateman has been spotted in Brisbane. Could be dolphins he’s meeting? Made me think though that if there was interest from us in Nikora, whether we could be in talks with Jordan Riki?

I saw a post on FB as a bold prediction, Jahrome Hughes to Wahs to make way for Pezet. That would be the best signing ever for us.. that and a decent fast winger, we would immediately have a shot at the crown then. Hopefully the behind the scenes beavers are offering him $1.3M a season to come.

I also find it funny that Brandon Smith is on the outer, big mouth over the years (which I prob have liked most of it except the anti wahs) but now no-one wants him and he has stated he would never come to the wahs etc so for that alone I hope he gets f-all in the market.

Everyone deserves a 2nd chance! If Walker finishes up end of 2025 I'd be happy at chucking him 500k to be an impact player off the bench for us. Could play 13 and hooker

Yes to Hughes, a big no to Smith ! I think we have better on the roster who are on the up, not least of all Clark ... Smith is a dick, and has shown a predilection for making dumb choices, and he's definitely on a physical decline

I’ve wondered about Hughes, that would be the best outcome possible for us I reckon. Sounds like there’s some interest in Brandon Smith from the rabbits

Chasing Briton Nikora or Jordan Riki dosen't make sense to be with the young backrows coming through the club. Leka Halasima, Jacob Laban, Eddie Ieremia.
They all pretty early into their nrl careers though, especially Eddie Ieremia Toeava hasn’t debuted yet whereas Riki has already played plenty of nrl. I know many aren’t fans of his but I really think we need a bit of height. When Tohu goes we’ve only really got Laban with a bit of height in the forwards. After watching the internationals, my dream would be to get Naufahu Whyte home who’s tall. You never know, it certainly looks as though Ben Hunt is going to the roosters and they believe they have too many middles? I can’t see them letting him go after what he’s showed and letting May go though

Kinda happy with the Boyd signing, but I feel if he comes right i think that he’ll leave. And it won’t take much convincing.

IMO, at least one of the Warriors halves should be a kiwi. Always. (Ideally)

Big yes to Jahrome Hughes.
could go back to the spine we had for the Panthers game. Almost an all Maori affair with TT, CNK, TMM, Roach(Samoan), Walker....

I'm the same. Can't see him being dynamic enough for the 7 role in our current attacking set up, or us being close enough on the scoreboard for his goal kicking to matter.

But still hopeful/confident Webby will get more out of him than I can see.
Really, it should be TMM and Metcalf getting first crack and Boyd and CHT getting a go as injury and form dictates

TT only signed for two years. If he was seen as the future fullback we'd be signing him for longer.

Pure guesswork on my part but I believe we're attempting to upgrade the position and we're hedging our bets a bit.

If CNK decides to leave before we find someone then we have TT. If we do sign someone then he's still the ideal back up.

CNK off contract in 2025 and TT getting extended only until 2026 feels like we're trying to transition while keeping our butts covered if plan A doesn't come off.
