Dolphins vs Cows is a huge game for both teams.

Winner sits tight in the top 8 and the loser really drops down amongst the 10 teams fighting over 4 places.

South’s were 6th when we played them a couple of weeks ago. Now they are 14th!

That battle to get in the 8 is going to be brutal week to week.

6th to 8th is basically musical chairs atm. Everyone gets a go at being in the 8 for at least a week. For me, the bigger game is next week: Broncos (6th, 16pts) vs Sharks (5th, 18pts) at Suncorp. If Sharks win that, they remain in the hunt for the 4. With a game against Melbourne the week after, Sharks could possibly move into 4th with a win if other results go their way (ie Melbourne lose to Souths in rd 16 when Bellyache will likely rest his stars backing up from Perth).

Jackson Hastings in for the Knights. Will he unlock their attack and start another run for Newcastle? Unlikely but mouth watering nonetheless.

I hate bye weeks when there’s no game for us to look forward to but it makes up for it watching every game knowing the loser is dropping 2 behind us!

Come on I enjoy not having to call St John every weekend

If Newcastle win, they will have the same number of wins as the 8th placed team (Dolphins). Pretty crazy given how awful they've been all year.

Roosters could be a top 6 side this year if they weren't so ill-disciplined. Dumb errors are the reason they didn't beat Canberra and Dogs this year when they had them beat. We'd also be tied 1st right now if they had.

If Dominic Young fronts for the Knights next week it will probably be the most bizarre of bizarre mid-season transfers. The NRL need to sort out this stupidity.

Bit of a arm wrestle/snoozefest, probably come to down to discipline and who can hold the ball.

That was a awful, awful call. At the very least it was put down by the knights player if wong didn't touch the ball at all until it was on the ground. Just as much downwards pressure.
