Neither have I but I've now seen Metcalf take 2 'easy-ish' attempts and not land one, CHT attempts last year weren't flash either hench asking the question. It is also beneficial for the dummy half to have a few options rather than relying upon the half to take the shot.

I disagree that either attempt was "easy" when the broncos were so clearly offside. Honestly surprised he even managed to fire them off without hitting a player. We even tried to captains challenge the last one it was so blatant but you cannot challenge the lack of a call.

I thought this is like a training run for the attack against a decent defensive team (they just can’t score) and Metcalf started running even made a line break, a grubber that Ali somehow bombed, an intercept leading to a try that ended the game basically, and a try saving tackle

Didn’t feel the direction was clueless like previous games, just the finishing was lacking and Dallin’s gonna make a difference on the right edge
