Letting Curran go and getting Capewell probably needs closer inspection now.

Obvious tick in the experience department but it's not great seeing Curran tearing around for the Bulldogs and being hailed as one of the buys of the season.

Someone posted tonight that Ford and Capewell had 27 run metres between them - yikes.

Worst performance of the last year and 2 months, similar to the Sharks game but worse and a better opponent (weird to say)

Webby gave the team a rile up and they still played like crap

Drop balls, penalties, and a non existent goal line D

Still not clinical at putting teams away when presented on a plate early

Didn’t want to say it before but we lost to Storm after signing RTS last year, maybe should have announced JFH during the bye round

Maybe they needed a belting as they looked like they are starting to live in the clouds with all the media hype. 2 flat weeks in a row. Felt sorry for the majority of fans who were actually Warriors fans, the chant drowned the home crowd

Halligan said they executed the shape then found they were outnumbered, maybe they should have gone through the middle, lol, no s*** this shows they weren’t grinding down the other team before earning the right to go out wide, typical when you don’t think much of the other team

Tohu was amazing though, took a few punishing runs on defense, kinda like Bunty, just stood there and take the missiles others failed to take down

We’ve wasted over $1.2mil on two guys who haven’t made us any better. There’s a case to be made we’re actually worse off.

Our super structured play is killing us against teams who decide to play harder and make less mistakes than us. It also makes us very predictable to coach against when we play good teams. We throw nothing in the way of broken play, probably cuz we’re old and slow.

Not panicking but fuck knows how we’ve earnt these premiership praises with the sub par performances we’ve put together this year. Lucky to make the 8 - no joke, every team is showing up against us.

Oh well, goodbye top 4. Gotta love it when pretty much every team so far has played the game of their season against us and we continually shit the bed at key moments.

How we bounce back will be telling to where this team is at. I thought Barnett and Addin were enormous. I think Johnson’s confidence in Ford has diminished because of his drop balls as I don’t recall Ford getting much ball at all. However I think Ford is a stronger runner with ball in hand than Capewell. I would like to see Pompey at left centre as it is easy to forget that he was quite good there last season and he has better distribution skills and possibly better defensive reads than RTS. I would move RTS to the left wing and leave him there but this might be unlikely based on what has been said about him playing solely as a centre. We have had an even start to the season so not bad but not great either. There has possibly been a bit too much hype around the Warriors credentials of being a genuine contender even from the Aussie media which has been good to watch but possibly overstated. This competition is so hard as every team on their day can win so it is how resilient we are as a group. The bounce back from these games will be for me the best indication of whether we have a genuine chance to win the nrl title this year.

Appalling hit out, it’s an understatement to say we were off….so many factors I can’t be bothered to mention.

I’m relinquishing control that I don’t have anyway and just hoping they turn it around but they will be feeling worse than me.

There were players that poured their hearts out and some didn’t, TMM was a bloody greedy guts but I dont mean to single him out. Brain farts all around and handling errors galore would’ve got you fired on the spot in a bank.

Don’t even get me started about defense.

Had to turn it off before the 80min siren, they don’t deserve top 4 at all with that showing.

Injuries, positional shuffles, depth we’ve been harping on about is cracking at the seams, a very green bench and individuals trying to hard to carry the team with poor individual decisions. I think they thought they had this game won before kick off and it was their undoing. And Webby is feeling the pinch now which is good depending on how he handles it,

Ain’t panicking though, it is what it is and let’s see how we aim up v Titans.

A solid ghetto F and in the hood an F is the letter after Z.

Yup we don’t earn the right because we are too busy trying to be to flash and change angles and our middles want to play like halfbacks and try tricky passes instead of just running hard and straight to bend the line and generate quick play the balls. Looks like they over complicate things at times out there. Just play straight and run hard like the dragons forwards did.
