Awesome crowd and occasion to be a part off.

Hopefully the weather plays ball for the daytime games to come and we can smash the attendance record for stand alone womens RL games in NZ.
100% - went down from Auckland for it and was glad I did, result aside.

Awesome to see a good crowd there for the women, they deserved it and felt unlike the men they harnessed it.

Crazy game - The Girls tried so hard after those 2 bad Red Card calls by the useless Officials. Laben got his leg broken in a similar tackle and nothing was done to the Offending player during the game, Yet our girl was sent off. I am sure if the offences were done by the Raiders players then it would never have been red cards. Good learnings for the Warriors girls to start learning how officials treat Warriors players. The men have been treated this way for 30 years! They were not red card offences at all - Yellow Card at the worst. The second red card should have just been a put on report as there really was nothing in it. Makes you wonder what is going through the rule makers at the NRL head office, when it become a red card for making a tackle. I always thought tackling was part of the game. The way the game is going, it will become soft. Some kid at rugby school picked up the soccer ball and rugby was created because he thought soccer was crap (as it is). Please don't make Rugby league turn back into soccer !

I disagree. Broncos woman did a very similar tackle to Matakino earlier in the season and was also sent off.

The hip drop, 50/50 sinbin vs send off, but it was a textbook hip drop with zero mitigation.

Ikenasio banned for 3 matches, Gray for 2 matches
That hip drop seems insane. An early red card and 3 matches for that is brutal, especially when you account for the shorter NRLW season. 1st offence too. **though I do see she ended the season of the Raider's player.

It is annihilate the Warriors at the judiciary week

I see Mya Hill-Moana is out for personal reasons too. It could mean anything, but it always going to make people guess in the women's game.

That hip drop suspension is particularly harsh.

The send-off is already higher than what has been dished out in an NRL game. Then 3 weeks on top of that.

A lot of the arguments on send-offs and suspensions usually centre around. If the player isn't sent off and but gets suspended the team that had the player injured/couldn't see out the game isn't advantaged in anyway where the oppositions upcoming opponents are. Or it is longer suspensions, taking into account the severity of the injury. Although that gets murky if a player is ruled out for the season as you can't rule the tackler out for the season.

I was a bit wary about the Warriors talking about harsher punishments as that can come back and bite you. The Lussick tackle in the NSW Cup last year got everyone up and arms about taking out the kicker. The next week the Warriors ended up winning due to Johnson being taken out while kicking.
