I am a huge fan of Ronnie.

I was happy with the call to keep him out of the NRL.

Where others see him on the outter, I see his withholding from the NRL as evidence of how important his future is to the club.

He would have landed at least one of the conversions on Saturday night , LOL.

Hopefully CHT is practicing his goal kicking in the off season with his flatmate, Egan.

The thing this year even though Webster would be familiar with a lot of the guys being at an opposition club or being associated with some previously. He would have done a bit of homework after he signed. But now after a full season with them day after day he would be more familiar with them now.

He now has another training session to sit down with the individual players, coaching team, and conditioning staff to make adjustments for specific players. Some like the older guys will be keeping them fit and refining some skills.

A lot of the younger guys will be another off-season getting their bodies ready for first grade. Berry for example another season increasing his power could see him more dangerous out wide. I'm not talking about getting muscle-bound. Modern training should be able to get him faster and stronger.

Webster also now has a year with the squad to adjust how they play, or fix up weaknesses.

The Big Boy Club, BBC for short (or long if you will), is sadly outdone by CHT returning

I forgot how good of a goal kicker CHT was. We really need someone who can go at over 80% and then go even better in the finals.
It would be interesting to see how many goal kicks Cleary and Reynolds have missed in finals games, I’d assume next to none.

How crazy is this feeling? Usually we can't wait for the season to end..... this year, it's why did it have too end? Can't wait till next season!!!!!

Thank you Webby, the players, the owners, the management, everyone involved. Special mention to the Social Media guys for the absolute Top Shelf videos this year.

UP THE WAHSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really hope we plan on developing Tuaupiki by as a potential winger to replace Montoya. Thought the kid was so composed in his limited opportunity and deserves a shot
Catching up on this thread, so am five pages behind, but watching his goal kicking yesterday (albeit in a limited pressure game) does make one wonder if this is a good option. RTS will bring more metres out of yardage to offset Montoya, but Tuaupiki also doesn't shirk the tough stuff. Could be an interesting option to get some more speed/elusiveness in the side.

Would CNK at the back, Tuaupiki and RTS on the left, and Berry and DWZ on the right be a premiership contending back five? Left side probably too small for mine (especially if you add Metcalf to that) and would be a target, although not too dissimilar from this year to be fair.

This is really sweaty kinda stuff here, I did a ladder prediction before the draw came out and then I did another where I picked every game, without paying attention to record or ladder position

Before Draw:
1. Roosters
2. Panthers
3 Broncos
4. Warriors
5. Titans
6. Storm
7. Rabbitohs
8. Eels
9. Sharks
10. Cowboys
11. Dolphins
12. Knights
13. Sea Eagles
14. Bulldogs
15. Tigers
16. Raiders
17. Dragons

After Draw:
Screen Shot 2023-11-14 at 12.12.43 PM.png

1. Warriors (18-6)
2. Panthers (17-7)
3. Roosters (17-7)
4. Broncos (16-8)
5. Storm (14-10)
6. Eels (14-10)
7. Titans (13-11)
8. Rabbitohs (13-11)
9. Cowboys (13-11)
10. Sharks (12-12)
11. Dolphins (11-13)
12. Knights (11-13)
13. Sea Eagles (10-14)
14. Tigers (6-18)
15. Bulldogs (6-18)
16. Raiders (6-18)

when sand dunes? 🥴
That's not the important question.

The important question is: Training with or without pina coladas at hand?

And will they be caught in the rain? And training at midnight?

By this time tomorrow, after Day 1 of Pre-Season Training, I think we'll have a 100% Accurate, Bang-On, No Argument Against It Idea about how good 2024's gonna go.

The "Webby, Is He A One-Season Wonder Or What!?" Thread awaits it's first post.
