I think this result (assuming it stands) just reflects most of the world recently flipping on the status quo in their elections due to life being overall kinda shitty in the wake of the covid era being unable to afford anything and whatnot.

It's quite interesting to view the spectacle that is the US elections. I quite like that in NZ no results are reported until polls close on election day. I know that's difficult in America with the different time zones though. I'm also surprised there isn't a halftime show like they do at the super bowl with the way the election is done
