My only trade this week is to dump Walsh as my flex player as I'm not that impressed with his numbers. Have brought in Gutho as his workrate at the Dragons seems to be a lot higher with some not so dynamic halves.

I think it’s close to 50:50, Hughes out probably means Pappy more involved as well, however agree entirely that Gutho is the main man at the Dragons, & his cash generation will be huge. I’ll prob wake up at 3am & spend the next 2-3 hours thinking about who to trade in.

Flicked out stood down Conner Watson and Tom Eisenhuth (still not sure what i was thinking there) for Tino and Mamouzelos.
Just trying to plug gaps with lowish $ starters.

Between posting, I’ve so many other fires in my team I need to put out trades just to get a half-decent bench. Due to faith (and my hand being forced about it any way) sticking with Cleary for now …
BTW I think Reynolds is going to be a points machine behind the forward pack.

Ive done my usual by looking at my team before round one thinking it looks really good and I've got everything covered to quickly needing 4 or 5 trades each of the last two rounds to put out fires I've predominantly started myself

Well iv spent the last 3 weeks rage trading and trying to undo some very average selections on my part, it's not my greatest work lol.

If your Saints boys go well against the Storm i think thatl get you the dub, that's some well played trades.

I don't think you will have any issues. I'm the 2025 equivalent of the Eels at the moment

What does benched vs started mean? I have Shib as one of my four nominated reserves. And it was a call I am glad I got right.

Question - how many points did Haas get - I am showing 78 - yet I made him my captain. Did he really get 39?

Benched just means outside the 18 you picked to play the round. Haas scored 78 so you will get double that.

Benched, as in not part of your playing 18, so you will not get the points in this weeks team score......having a player score 100+ on your bench does sux balls, but at least you will see a nice price increase, silver linings i suppose.

Haas has 78 points pre-updates, if you captained Hass he will be on 156 points.

Hoping this clarifies it all up mate.

I presume you are Wrightys All Stars? If so, it is already showing that Haas is on 156 points for your team, well played bud, Haas is a beast.

Got it wrong. Was trying to decide between him and Toia. Also captained wrong every round so far and I'm sure the 75 points I got for Haas will be beaten by my vc Hynes.

Just a quick helpful hint here Jonesy, you are always best to VC a player that plays before your captain, if your VC goes nuts you can use the VC loop to cash in on the great VC score. VC loop explained below if required?
