The team list next tuesday will be Huge and will determine our whole season. SK needs to get the right mix between promoting youth players that have a high cieling such as Curran vs older stodgier players like Burr who will perform more consistently.
You may think I am drawing a long bow from the naming of next weeks team to their final finish in the season but I dsagree
SK is a stubborn mule. Whatever team he picks next week he will stick with, barring injury, for at least 10 rounds.
Secondly how we do over the first 5 games will set a projectory for the season. By by my maths we need to go 4 -1 as things get tougher in a hurry after the initial draw.

We've got 24 weeks coming up of at least a a few people on here mentioning it each week. We get a week off for the bye in round 12.
If it was a court case it would be hard mounting a counter argument with all of the evidence. The thing was after previous coaches were accused of having favourites Kearney was the guy who would pick on performance, based training attitude and performance. Be above the line. Tui just slapped me with a Yeah Right!.
He's probably as bad or worse than the others. His arguements for lack of experience can be countered by your've been here for 3 seasons and that is plenty of time to build a squad. Unless a kid shines like Chanel Harris-Tavita you don't get a lot of confidence that Kearney will persist with them.

I for one has been very disappointed with Hayze. He has failed to take the few opportunities he has been afforded and TBH I'm wondering what is next for him. I don't really see him fitting in in the halves, wing, centre or FB as a first choice. I see Paul Turner as being capable, but realistically if Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is out, then likely to be Fusitua moved back. Not ideal as he tries to settle into a centre role... Peta Hiku being the alternative... with the same problem of course.

But lost me at Pulu. Somehow Pulu became dispirited when he dropped back into ISP and put a large number of listless performances. As in not slightly listless, more like the worst player on the field type performances.
Unlike Lisone we cant shop Pulu around as not even Titans or the Super League would bite.
I hope he proves me wrong and fights back. He is 30 though.
. They wrote an article about him last year. Apparently his Dad and three younger brothers are in jail. Pulu is heart broken about his youngest brother being inside at the age of 20 and he wants to dedicate his life to being a good role model for his siblings. The youngest one in particular.
I think all of it is proving too much in my suspicion.
