Now that the season is over, thought I would post my end of year team for 2019.
SK kind of got it come final round.

1- Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 2- Fusitua 3 - Milne 4 - Hiku 5 - Maumalo
6 - Chanel Harris-Tavita 7 - AK 8 - Sao 9 - Roache 10 - Afoa 11 - Curran 12 - Harris 13 - Jazz 14 - Kodi 15 - LAM 16 - Paasi 17 - Ayshford 18 - Papalii / Burr/Green

Paasi was less than average, but in short bursts would offer more quality.

Papalii has time on his side.

Curran is feisty , carts the ball with energy.
Defended well in Canberra but still a bit suspect technique wise.
Was in the dust up with the pom.

Always knew what Milne had to offer.

For 2020 we lose Sao,Ayshford, possibly Afoa and Lisone and then there is Luke.
Satae is already in ESL.
That is a lot of front row bodies with Ayshford going.

2020 will be interesting to see who comes in and who move into the 30.
But this is me,what you got.
Sorry mate, but Roache is a liability...

Halves
Chanel Harris-Tavita
KN

Hooker / Sub
AK
Lawton

Would get all our play makers, kickers and competitors in the top side

Letting Johnson go was the right decision, he didn't live up to the prices tag. He has hardly played this year because of injury. So hot and cold you can't build a team around him the warriors tried and failed, so they let him go.

I resent this type of criticism about Shaun Johnson.
He had six different coaches at the Warriors. Cleary, Bluey, Iro, Elliott, Cappy and SK.
Just as many halves partners.
And a host of players around him who had thought they had made it by being a paid first grader.
You could never fault his effort and he went from a reluctant tackler to a willing and good tackler.
Throw in his series of injuries.
And you can't dispute that without him we would have been total shit.

To say he has hardly played this year because of injury is not correct.
Without looking up any official stats I would say he has played maybe 16 out of 24 games.
Last week he was the best on field v the Tigers and he didn't even have to hit top gear.
As he did at the Warriors his presence and perceived danger with ball in hand gives space and time to those around him.
He is fitting in nicely and they have a coach who has the right game plan where all 17 have a crucial role.
Sharks have a better squad then the one that won the title in 2016.
They along with the Storm and Roosters are the only teams I can see winning it.

What an absolute load of dribble. If we just focus on actual hard facts to highlight your biased nonsense, then Shaun Johnson has so far played 17 games in 2019 and has delivered 14 try assists, 13 line break assists, scored 3 tries and is tackling at 82% efficiency. He’s been excellent in his last 7 games (since settling properly into his new team) with 9 try assists.

At this point I’d like to delve further into my thoughts on your clear lack of knowledge about league, however I don’t know your circumstances and therefore I’ll refrain.

He has has a direct involvement in 17 out of the Sharks 92 tries (about 20%) while taking up only approx 11% of the salary cap - decent return on investment and exceeding the price tag.

Serious question.

Lots of clubs at their final end of season wrap up they announce the players who are leaving. Who’s leaving us? Blake? Anyone else?

Blake
Luke
Sao
Not forgetting:
Kearney
Payton
Iro
George
Blair
Green
Beale
Passi
Carlaw Park Heritage
Lisone
Pompey
Satae

Remember when Watson took over? They only had 9 signed players - a great opportunity again for a complete clean out and start again.

Bring in a couple of big boppers and some speed in the back line.
