The one thing with a brand new coach, new slate, you would hope he’d lock some of these guys positions into place, if he just made the call straight away:
Fusitua you’re a winger. Finished product.
Lolohea you’re a winger too, who covers the rest of the backline on game day if injury. Work on your high ball game.
Vatuvei, ditch the speed work, pack on the weight, while your still under contract here, you are going smash some c*nts in the middle of the field. If it doesn’t work your times up I’m afraid.
Maumalo, you too, you got re-signed, you have a long transition to becoming a back rower ahead of you. (I don’t think he has the motor for it, but hey, could happen)

Afoa you are now a fulltime edge player, we need to develop some more.
Obviously cappy is not likely to do any of this, if he is still here, and would Stacey might have a hard time making those calls as he’s been involved with these guys through the grades?
Even Ivan, with his previous reliance on Manu Super Winger, I guess it’s been long enough now, there’s only like 5 guys out of 30 in the squad who were coached by him.
Even if Cappy stays and makes those calls, it will just look like waffling, and they’ll never quite be sure if they’ll be moved back into their old position at random.
Even if some of them aren’t in their ideal spot, fuck ‘em.
