Just wondering how everyone is thinking the 2023 Squad will look come round 1.
Our roster I guess is pretty settled and I'd hazard a guess that recruitment is fairly done save a few minor changes.
Obviously we are a long way off. But I just wanted to get the ball rolling.

I think guys like Metcalf , Volkmann and Lussick will all get games next year , along with guys like Sironen and Murchie if they hang around , but well have reserve grades next year to play these guys. Biggest question to me is wtf happens to Ben Murdoch-Masila?

These teams really highlight how bad we need another prop- Tohu Harris is one of the best 13s in the world and has to play there imo.
I won’t put a team out there yet because I’m still expecting a bit of movement but if webby is planning to play a similar style to the panthers Tohu Harris at 13 and Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad at 1 are certainties.
I’d love to have metcalf in the team but I think the way things have unfolded he might have to bide his time.

Ale's spot should be the development spot, should always be looking to develop young talent. Ale, Frei, Kepu's etc. Just don't see the point in playing Ben Murdoch-Masila, unless he can have a massive off season and get fit.

Missing a starting front rower for sure. I also think Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is our best fullback option currently, so would play him there. Really hope Berry can grab that 4 jersey, I think he still has NRL standard in him.

There's no way I'd put Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad in fg. He's a has-been. Depth player. Montoya at centre and Kosi at wing is a much more interesting combo.

Charnze has been poor this year, hasn’t looked the same since his long term neck injury. But he’s a good player better than our whole backline( besides Vailea’s potential)And he’ll come good after pre season( he’s only 27).

I think there are at least three positions that he can stake a claim to. The injuries are a concern though especially as he was no speedster to begin with. Savage who is keeping him out isn’t an elite fullback either.

He seems like a hard worker and should be a good addition attitude wise to the club. I’m just not sure that we have the personnel to play a workhorse with limited playmaking skills over players with more ball playing skills (Martin) or speed (Metcalf).

He is solid positionally , always carts the balls back well. We have Te Maire Martin, Johnson and Harris controlling the good ball set anyway.
I think he's what we need.
