I would like to publicly thank David for single handedly running and administrating this contest over 25 weeks

Mammoth effort
Judging by the large number of comments people really enjoyed it and all thanks to you for running it

You have lifted everyone’s mood and given us something enjoyable in a bleak season
Thanks Wrighty and everyone else.

I really enjoyed running this competition this year, and it made me want to tweak a few things around for next years competition, and I wanted to thank Wrighty himself for letting me run the competition.

Mr Brownstone

Far out last round already.

7 points aint much. Feel like ive got one hand on the trophy but someones going to come from nowhere and just rip it out of my hands.

Luckily my starting 13 are all playing this week (edit....just saw Chrichton's out....ouch that hurts)

Looking at my point of difference from my chasers im hopin Reecey boy is saving his best for last and kills it.......hatrick would be nice Reecey (god knows you owe us anyway)........and i need Papali'i to have a big one too.

Anyone's game still (and by anyone i probably mean Whitenight, Brownstone, and Waipiro ;))......here we go!
I don’t think I’m any chance, Panthers outs the final nail in a season hit by my two main men Cleary & Turbo not playing enough games. Same for a lot of people of course.

Can I sub in R. Berry for R. Garrick please?
Gotta hold Wheels out!
I have been too focused on not coming last and receiving the wooden spoon. The fact that I could now jump a further spot this weekend and cross the finish line with 2 players behind me is a raving success!!

Thanks David and whoever else was involved in organising this competition. One suggestion for a competition if one is to be done next year is if we could just have picking the Winning team for each game. This is a lot simpler as each week you could receive a point for each correct pick with a total of 8 points each week. Possibly a bonus of 2 points if all 8 winners are picked in a single week...Not to take away from the previous format but I kept forgetting who was in my team and if they were injured or not!!! However, I have just realised it might entail alot more work due to registering each participants picks weekly. So maybe not the best idea!

There is a tipping competition on this site already. See the left hand menu of the web site. Tajhay runs it and it is automated,.

Whiteknight

Whiteknight

BoatsnHoes leads by just 7 points over WhiteKnight who has just made two trades, Will BnH be pipped at the post?
Unfortunately I have to put Walsh in, not sure if that is any better than not having Stephen C playing for Penrith tbh!

At least you saved a trade for just such an eventuality
I saved a trade as well but Crichton sitting out is killing me......my only fit bench player is a forward.

Really think it'll come down to what our several different players do.....ill be following those games with interest.

Still think the window's open for someone down the pack to have a blinder and snatch this thing.

I thought u were allowed to trade in a forward for a back if there were no other options?

IF you need to use a forward for a back's position or a back for a forwards position then I'm okay for it as I've allowed that for most of the season but bare in mind, if you are using a forward sub for a back he will take the responsibility of the back's role and points, and vice versa with back to forward, '
What is it that you would like to do?

Breaking it down stats wise.

Whiteknight has hit mid 60 points for the last two weeks, and mid 60 points for the 4 out of the last 5 weeks.

Whereas

Boats n Hoes has been high 50's for 4 of the 5 weeks with him just picking up high 60's in the last round. So he's struggling to see off Whiteknight.

Prediction: if Boats n Hoes struggles again with another 50 point weekend and White Knight hits around 60 points, it is his to win it. But it's going to be tight.

As for Mr Brownstone in third place, he needs a high 70 plus point weekend to even put pressure on. He had 70 pointer 3 weeks ago before two 60 points plus the last two weeks.

24 Hour window call for the last time this season. I will close it tomorrow night. If you have any subs left, best to use them now. Last chance.
