Recruitment Who Should The Warriors Sign For 2017/2018?

Does any body know much about the young half, Drew Hutchison from the dragons? Off contract, could he be a Maloney mk II for the warriors?

Unfortunately he got an ACL injury this year which ruled him out of playing any first grade. Really bad time for it to happen so early in his career.

He looked really good in under 20 and came of the bench once or twice before he was injured. Very quick.

I got 15 seconds with big Sam McKendry today in central Hamilton.
Gave him a chur took a pic , phone rang and he slipped away.

That might be their other half, Field. Prior to injury Hutchison was noted for his kicking and passing skills, because he moves like a fridge. One of those non-athlete looking guys.

Big bugger , im 6ft 112kg of prime beefcake and felt a bit dwarfed.
Been out for a while ,can e make it back to NRL level .
Would have no issue if he joined us

I don't think he's very quick at all, the bloke is the same size as some of the forwards on his team. More of big bodied half that has a massive boot and good organisation, but definitely not one to break the game open. Could actually be a good foil for Shaun Johnson, well better than Te Maire Martin anyway, the only downside would be his injury history.

Nah. Easy nah. He has been playing park footy, his body is pretty buggered and we know his mental stuff.

If we snag Paasi, which sounds certain, and say a McKendry, I'd be pretty happy for next season.

All I know is we’re still in the market and that the we have one more forward signing for the top side still to come.

You might remember the rumors circulating around us chasing a Panthers forward a while ago when they were looking to release a couple of players to free space to upgrade Tyrone May and Dylan Edwards, I liked McKendry for one of our targets back then and when Weno mentioned seeing him in Hamilton it confirmed it’s not outside the realms of possibility.

He had a little jog while he was walking around waiting for whoever before i noticed him .
Wore shorts and had no strapping at , he was looking at mine form my latest knee clean out .

We can afford him Simon is done and well Lukes not even signed yet.
