I'm hearing different things about Pricey and Sheens being interested in taking some of our top jobs at the club, so I thought I'd put it to a poll..

I included John Ackland, as assistant coach, because he has taken our juniors to the top twice and knows a lot of the current squad personally. The other two speak for themselves.

Price Sheens Mcfadden. This is at this precise moment in time. My opinion may change in coming weeks dependant mainly on results on field.

Wish it was true.

Everything starts somewhere as an idea. We just need to make it happen.

It's our club after all. Scurrah is running it like a high street business, maximizing profits (for what?), gutting the fans wallets at every opportunity, sacking coaches whenever the shit hits the fan. He's scum.

There's a reason why the Warriors are the most profitable club in the NRL. It's because all the other clubs treat their member like the club members that they are, and not dipshit customers who exist solely to be fleeced..:rage:

And now we're back on the next Scurrah rollercoaster ride with McFadden. And when Scurrah is about to get his beens McFadden will go down just like all the others before him. Watch this space.
Cleary, Bluey, Iro, Ackland, Elliot. All coaches who have been disgraced to keep the axe from Scurrahs neck.:shifty:

If my golf club president carried on like this I'd be getting all my mates together and we'd be fucking right off. But for some reason a footy club is different.:hungover:

End rant.:)

What has Steve Price done to show that he can run a business? I know he has an MBA but has he actually got any experience running a multi million dollar business?
I like to think of us as a club that makes lots of money. And we've got Eric Watson and Owen Glen who can do the big balls business shit when it's needed. I reckon it's better to get someone the club members will like, even if he couldn't run a filthy foreign owned bank (or some other lecherous institution like that).

Nothing and I thought he had given up gambling, not with him sitting next to me on the Carribean Poker table at the casino in the middle of the day last year.

Are these even valid options or is it just Fantasy NRL Club Bosses?

The only name I've heard in there that's been linked to the club so far is Tim Sheens, and I wouldn't be opposed to that.
Having Steve Price involved in some capacity wouldn't go a miss either.
And I doubt Ackland would want much to do with the club at all.

I was really more interested if anyone at our club actually wanted Scurrah 5.0 with McFadden and Henry as our new super coach team. We are a club after all, so we do get a say in who's at the helm... So far not one vote for the kerr...

The thing is, if Scurrah wanted Sheens we'd have waited for him and he'd be our coach right now. I don't think we can have the one without losing the other.

At this point in time, I went with Scurrah, McFadden etc.

Now before you disown the black sheep, I'd like to say I'm not opposed to getting rid of Scurrah so long as his replacement is credible in the position. I know next to nothing about Price as a CEO candidate. If the Club is going to axe Scurrah then they should have someone in mind that is actually going to be an improvement. Not to be snarky (and this question is sincere) but what makes you guys think Price will do a good job?

I'd also like to give McFadden a couple of games before kicking him to the curb. I'm sheepishly okay with Sheens coming here. But I think things should be given time to settle before making potentially rash decisions.

As far as Ackland is concerned, I don't even consider him a possibility. Regardless of my personal opinion about the guy, I doubt he'd want to come back to the Warriors.

Doesn't he have 2 business degrees, and one or two businesses. Most likely not multi-million dollar businesses.
