General Where do you think the Warriors will finish?

although all the clubs have known their draw since the draws been released, i gets da feelin' that the teams, other than who we're up against in the coming rounds, are sighing relief!!
anyhow, here's my rundown for the following games...

- knights @home, we win.

- roosters in Sydney, we win.

- titans @home, we win.

- raiders in Canberra, a real toughy on their turf, so either way.

- manly @home, we win.
ummm, let's just say manly have sealed the #2 spot ok, then maybe just maybe they'll send over some rookie/young team to play us. you know, save the main players etc'... & if they do, we'll win.

- panthers in Penrith, another tough one, so either way.
hopefully, by round 26, the results in this match-up won't effect the outcome. but it's the last time for some of their players to wear that blody awful strip!! (except for the 03' strip of course). in some cases, emotions can pump adrenalin for what seems like hours on end... for most of the panthers, those emotions will be building up to the week leading to play the Warriors. so, yeah, either way.


we could well be sittin' 5th by the time the dust settles. amen :amen:

I said it before, if we make the finals we owe it to Steve Prices calm influence. With Steve Price as captain i would not be suprised to finish 4-5th. Steve Price is a amazing human being.

I believe that the Warriors will finish fourth. Due to their recent form and good consistency in the team!

After 6 losses in a row, I didnt think we could get 6th on the ladder now! But for some reason even in those losses I knew that we would turn it around, so I'm backing them to finish 4th or 5th.

The Bulldogs are a real threat for the Warriors hopes of top 4. What happens to Brisbane remains to be seen. They could really guts it out or they could start to drop games left right and centre. They traditionally struggle during or after origin anyway even without the key injuries.

They should take care of the Sharks this weekend though.

That's the salary cap in action really.

There is not a hell of a lot of difference between the top and bottom. Two weeks ago the Panthers rock out and give the Bulldogs a hiding away from home. You take off a few key players for the Bulldogs and they are nothing special. Same thing happens to the Broncos.

We need some Storm players to start falling over. On the same note if McKinnon and Price get big injuries you can kiss goodbye to our hopes. The rest of the guys could guts it out and maybe scrape into the playoffs but we wouldn't get near grand final day.

I can barely believe my eyes, lol. 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th. Polar predictions compared to what was being said six weeks ago when our season was apparently over. I just think this is so great. It's so good to see some realistic positivity.

I agree the salary cap is a great leveller, unfortunately still on the low price range tho lol. But yeah its why we see teams go regularly from top 8 teams to no hopers and vice versa in the space of a couple of years.

That and injuries and suspensions play a big part, a credit to the warriors discapline this year. Must be one of our best years yet in terns of number of suspensions. Backs my reasoning that Monty should not have been captain for so long.

Why have a captain who gives a way more penalties then anyone else in the team.

If we keep playing as well as we are at present (and Wade keeps his cool!), I see no reason why we can't win our remaining games. I think our hardest task will be this week against the Knights. All of their stars who were missing last week (when they narrowly lost to Manly) will be back except Buderis and it will be a must win for them. Safely through this game and with three wins on the trot, this will set us up nicely for a confident run in to the finals. I think we will finish 4th in the premiership and face either the Tigers or the Broncos at home in the first week of the finals.
