I read a few members talking about downloading the replay of the final. Does anyone have a link so that I can?

Thanks feijoa... guess I'll have to wait for a public stream. Guts.

Pretty much wanted it for a mate anyway, and he can just watch the replay on bigpond. Would be nice to have my own hardcopy though.

i can mail you a copy if you like mate if you can pay for shipping and the dvd ($2 all up)
i know its expensive but its worth it :D

Thanks atilla you da man!

I'll take a raincheck on the DVD feijoa. See how this torrent goes then I'll make the call. $2 for the first kiwi world cap win? Bargain bin price mate,

LOL sounds like a bargin indeed

Btw if anyone in Aussie wants to know Replay is at 1pm on Fox Sports

does the torrent have aussie commentary?

Also . .what's a torrent? :)

No need to worry what a torrent is really sportsthought. Just download a torrent program https://www.bittorrent.com/ will do... then click the link above.

If you must know, torrents are a great way of downloading large files. The first bit you download is a small portion of the overall file. Then while you are downloading all the other bits, people are downloading your little part of the file too this means you are not reliant on one server to be uploading everything for you... so it's courteous to leave bittorrent or whatever program you use running for a while after you're finished so as to help others to download the file too. This is called "seeding", if you are downloading files you are "leeching". The more seeders a torrent has the healthier it is, and we all love healthy torrents! :)

I've had some issues with torrents to be honest so I tend not to use it

yeah theres only the version with the 'pommentators' at the moment

Awesome - thanks for the link, gents. Not many seeds as of yet, but we'll get there in time. Hopefully an Aussie one will be uploaded at some stage, too. I'd love to hear Ray Warren going off his nut as we pull off the upset! :D

The English one should still be interesting, though - it'd be good to get a "neutral" (read: anti-Australian) perception of the match.

My friend, over in England saw it from their point of view. He loved the commentators that were on. So anti Aussie!

That's a pity. I was hoping for neutrality, but the English obviously won't provide it. Ironically, the NZ Sky team are probably as unbiased as Channel 9. The number of times that Ropati insists on not calling the match early because he recognises just how good Australia are...

Actually the English commentary is not really anti-Aussie. I mean even their predictions were all Aussie to win, and they were full of praise of the team at the beginning of the match. With regards to the ref decisions, they were pretty neutral. As the game went on and they could smell an upset, they seemed to enjoy it, most commentators enjoy the underdog winning, but there was no anti-Aussie sentiment at all.

I just don`t really enjoy these blokes calling it, maybe I`m just not used to them.

Well all commentary has it's bias towards one side or another, but it depends who hides it best. Even the ABC callers through the NRL year have tended to side with the Warriors opponets from time to time, and they can be right arseholes about it too

Great to hear that they were pretty neutral. Eddie and Stevo are frustrating, but that's more to do with their common sayings, ("That's a T-R-Y"), than anything else.

I strongly disagree. I've seen no more neutrality than from the Channel 9 team. And I've seen them be balanced and neutral in trans-Tasman tests. Not all commentary is biased.
