You know if you just bring in Volkman in to replace Johnson you cause a lot less structural changes and get someone that can actually kick.

With the team we rolled out:
TMM switched to the right side - New defensive combination
Walker on the left - New defensive combination, lose middle play off the bench, bench reduced with Lussick added

Don't know what the reason was in the end, surely if there was a smidgen of doubt in Johnson you would have had added Volkman to the extended bench.

Great point. Theres alot to it though that could be agrued. Wasnt named, needed to play sudden death nsw cup semi, they've trained for this situation, experience over non experience, etc etc.

Only thing we can do is to trust the process, one thing webby pointed out early in the year is regardless, every player and every position, there's a role to be done and that changes opponent to opponent.

Only thing for me is, out of the sharks, roosters and storm.. i cant see the sharks beating panthers. Storm got exposed by Broncs, honestly, as much as hate them, perhaps the Roosters can upset Penrith if they beat the sharks and then the storm, which if things go well we'd meet the Roosters in the GF and i'd rather come face to face with that then the Panthers who have 2 years on the trot experience in the big dance, take it as we will though

DWZ can be a freak on attack but a liability on D ... two tries he let in as one he jammed in to help the centre the second he was trying to go for an intercept ... he seems not to be able to just do the tackle on his man ??? pretty much the basics of D take your opposite if your inside misses his tackle thats his fault

Thought we did well incidently.
Just glad we didn't face Brisbane.
Panthers play our style but better and have been doing it for 3 years.....
