Went to the game. Didnt get in until the 39th minute. Eden park has given up trying to accomodate for the fans now the world up is finished. Bloody bullshit.

I watch most Phoenix games, was good to see Aucklanders getting out and supporting them. I really expect the round 1 game against Manly to go close to sell-out given the way we finished and the added wank factor of the AB WC win there.

Lines at every ticket booth were 20m deep, credit card and eftpos txns were really slow going through and there was just no urgency at all and eden park staff didnt seem to care that people were just walking away or missing half the game.

Went ape shit over this goal. T.Brown played well all game and even T.Lochead who I dont rate at all played his best game in a while. His ball for the first goal was top notch.

Dont normally watch them but took my stepdaughter to the game tonight in dunedin. Being an soccer and phoenix nut she loved her first ever live football game and the new stadium in dunedin is awesome. I reckon it would be really awesome if the warriors could take a game down here next year!!!

That stadium looks the goods, I reckon they'd get a good crowd for a Warriors game. Can't imagine it'd be a great place for Aussie teams to travel in winter either.

Good on ya bro, nothing like being taken to the footy by your dad, your stepdaughter will remember that for years.
I'm looking forward to heading down to Dunnys to see some rugby (or even better, the mighty Warriors) at the new stadium, although there will always be a pang for the House of Taine.
