I'm still puzzled and annoyed by that signing. He's so shit that any experience he'd give us over blooding a junior is completely negated.
(Also is anybody else getting the annoying ass word count thing in the bottom right when making a post? it don't think I have any extensions in Chrome that would be triggering it. It blocks a bunch of characters at the end of the last line and it's so frustrating)

Make no mistake, this forum straight up rules in terms of features and look. It's the only reason that lil thing stuck out to me. I figured out should balance out the nitpick by giving my full opinion. All of the hard work behind the scenes is definitely appreciated and y'all are killing it!

That word count was accidentally left on whilst enabling something to make life easier for mods in scheduling of weekly threads - was not intentional, so thank you for bringing it to our attention. By all means, please feel free to "nitpick" - we certainly don't consider it as such and user experience is paramount to us. Also big thank you to everyone who has been reporting spam posts/threads. There has been an increase of that recently as we made it easier for non registered users to create posts before registering. Will look to find a solution for that so hope to see a decrease in spam posts.

It was never publicised as im still testing a few things. Its not on the google playstore but you can install it directly from your browser.
Two options:
1) navigation menu at the bottom you will see an install app option as per the screenshot
2) from the browser options:
Let me know if you need further assistance.
The reason it hasn't been publicised is that Apple has limitations in these kind of web apps as they don't support international browser standards.
The app does make things easier and supports notifications.

From tomorrow the GAMEDAY thread will have live scores and stats displayed (well - updated every 5 mins).
There will be an option to toggle off the scores if viewing the thread during the game.
Just like scores, you can choose to expand the match and player stats as you choose to display the information.
Example thread of what it will look like (and the match and player stats) can be found at the top of our round 3 game:

Hi all, just a note that if you have created a new PM in the last 3/4 weeks, and didnt get a response from the other person, it was because there was a bug where the message could not be sent to the other person. This has been fixed. (you will need to create and resent that mesg to the other user/s again though.)

This only impacts NEW conversations started, not existing ones i believe.

Can you mods tell the system to differentiate between green and Green? I realise that's way down in terms of importance, of course, given everything else you guys do and it's just a clean-up thing...
It's a bit weird when some forummer talks about so-and-so being green and lo-and-behold that word becomes red and creates a link to Blake Green's thread. I suppose it's complicated because what if someone is talking about BG and can't be bothered using caps, yeah?

New Feature - Sticky Poster Information (not that kind of sticky poster)
A feature has been added on desktop that some users may wish to disable hence documenting this. Note this feature does not work on mobiles.
On Desktop(and Tablets), when you browse a thread, the post's user information will stay stickied on the side so you can still see who posted it. This is especially useful in larger posts.
The video below has details on what it looks like. It also shows what you need to click on your user Preferences section to disable it.

Added 17.07.2022 - Threads/conversations will be updated in realtime, if you are on the conversation/thread for example. You 'should' also see '[avatar] typing' at the bottom of the screen. Useful for high traffic threads such as gameday, which will mean people wont have to refresh threads anymore.
Note: Currently only available to registered users and not guests. It may be further limited to users with 50+ posts in past year etc as it is fairly resource intensive. If you spot an issue with it, please let me know.
