Do RL teams have vice captains or alternate captains? I wouldn't mind seeing one captain and two alternates like in ice hockey. You don't always have your #1 captain on the field, and you could probably do with different positional perspectives and personalities to get the most from the team.

Just need a few players like that to lift the team around them to perform.

There were bog average borderline reckless decisions made by the so called leaders yesterday.

Reckless passing, reckless kicks, dropped balls, heads down… seen it all before.

Another season using the wrong defensive system.

If we stick with this Justin Morgan defence rubbish put a line through us.

That D line was horrible and it got murdered.

Same shit as last year. Wake up Brown it will cost you your job.

Morgan and his hang back dedence and commit two only in the tackle is supposed to be clever.....a way around the ruck infringements under the new laws.

Well, if you hang back and hunt in pairs you hand the opposition space, and you allow them to stand in the tackle, and you give them dominance in the ruck.

But that is not tge worst of it.

Seeing our guys having to stop and think about numbering up is all wrong.

Rugby leagye defence is a hive mind endevour, the whole team comes foward in a wave, or more accurately a wall.

Poorer defenders (especially inexperienced guys) need the simplicity of the rythm of comming forward, and retreating as a line.

Honestly our middles look like they are scrambling to cover the higgledy piggity totally structure less Justin Morgan bull crap defence.

Even if it is or isn't Morgans fault, Brown is responsible here.

Hey maybe I'm wrong, maybe they just need to do it better....

But last year we had to pack it in and revert to three man tackles.

So I'm thinking after yesterday that this D line at the Warriors will kill the season unless they work on it.

Stuff the clunky attack, fix that later, we won't win a single game till that D is sorted.

Hope he can stay injury free because I can see him having the affect he was brought here for, we shouldn’t go away from the repeat sets he can deliver. There was nothing wrong with the pass, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak had come infield for no good reason. Shaun Johnson expected him to be hugging the sideline, that's where a Sharks winger (and Fusitua) would be positioned.

I don't think Brown is good enough! I'm not seeing any progress from last year, Next game will tell us if we have any chance this year with a full strength team, The defence as been awful and watching the finals we are not going to last 5 seconds if we make the 8!

If Brown tanks, and we don't replace him, I guarantee you it's because ole Mohawk and CEO cannot get anyone else.

No one putting up their hand to be our coach, only people who have no experience or people like Brown who have awful NRL records of coaching. Expect Coaches like the Bulldogs Coach if Brown gets kicked!
