That woods call was wrong in so many ways.. Woods denied HIMSELF an opportunity to tackle Shaun Johnson by trying to milk a penalty instead of trying to tackle Shaun Johnson, and was rewarded with a penalty. What stray dog said after was completely right. all that does is encourage the behaviour, and how can that be a good thing for the game? Somethings gotta change.. What can you do except shake your head and wonder where common sense has gone.

Maybe it was justice for the manu foot in touch thing. Who gives a shit.. we're not a top 8 team. Some players seriously need to F off next season. Manu is at the very top of that list.

Our problems are rooted much deeper than an addition of one player or a new coach will solve. It always has been.

Yup I agree. I think we progressed this year. But still have a long way to go. I hope management don't react to fan aggression after this season. No need to make wholesale changes. Just continue to raise standards.

The refs are shit. He openly threw himself into the player..and even if the player wasn't there, no way can he catch Shaun Johnson in that position..

First game I haven't watched live in 3 years.

First game I'm never going to watch. Ever.

By the sounds of the comments, we had a tough day with the refs.

The only club who puts their tail between their legs when the going gets tough.

We reward mediocrity.

Lillyman, Manu, Matulino, Hoffman..... leaders of the club who aren't doing shit.

Shaun Johnson being exposed behind a weak as shit forward back.

A Coach who fronted as a tough man that everyone respects. Really it's the same old shit.

We have classy, good, solid players. But the balance isn't there.

We aren't reward the hungry youngsters that are putting in work to earn the jersey.

We are rewarding the same old shit for the same old players.

We ain't winning shit until we have someone with the balls to break the player power.

And someone with the balls to name players in their rightful positions.

Best thing to ever happen IMO. Cappy goes, We are GONE and when the new Coach gets here hopefully a lot of these current players will be let go as well.

That never happens at the Warriors. New coach means the coach has taken the blame and the players stay on, that is the Warriors way.

Well its the old boys game, so theres atleast 200 former first grade players and 300 reserve and juniors who never ended up playing first grade for the club.

Lol. I know it's still raw. So I expect pissed off reactions. It may not be enough for long-suffering fans, but the club did raise standards in discipline and expectation. No player is above the law, and every player has played reserve grade if their standard fell-even Bully and Manu. The players don't hang their heads and give up any more. The young guys have played a lot of footy this year and will be as year wiser next year. They know what is expected in FG. Fusitua and Lolohea are now senior players at their tender ages. Kata has cemented his spot. It's not much, but I feel we have made some permanent progress.

Our transcendence is not going to be quick. It will be long and painful. But worth it. I promise you. As long as the club stick to the plan.
