Showers at the moment but the worst of it is meant to hit right around game time. Going to be wet one which should favour the Warriors with the Roosters being much more error prone. Its also even the ledger a little with a lot of today being who kicks best and Cronk is one of the best in the game...

What wet weather games have we played so far this year and how did we fair? I have a cold and can't think as lucidly as normal - was one of Titans or cowboys in the wet?

Geeze I picked us in a close one early in week, I dont know how much more I can shave off it haha.
I think the rain will negate both sides backs largely, aside from our awesome trio hitting the ball up for the forwards and kick returns.
It will be won up the middle. So the team with the fittest forwards will win, I think thats us.
Kearney focussed the entire last year on completions, so we are not the old warriors who would drop the ball in the rain after scoring a try (touch wood).
I think Green and Lino, both being great organisers will actually be a benefit in this type of game.
I hope Lawton can pass the ball is my only fear, hes done ok in ISP, but as mentioned his passing does need work and I can see Green reaching for his toes a lot which causes incomplete sets.
Keep it tight, keep the steam roll going with quick play the balls, kick on tackle 4 often, wait for them to make the mistakes, we win.
BUT people still have their money on Roosters at #2 to win the GF on sportsbet, so obviously people are expecting something to change...... I totally understood the Storm early season when they were losing still being backed as Favs, that was just case of adjusting to losing cronk and maybe harris to some degree.

He really needs some intense tackle training one on one and some good Defensive games to keep him in the squad, his link to Fusitua is working as unlike the other side he isnt ball hogging, he passes when there is an overlap

I think Kearneys training last year and focus on completely on completion rate, our continuation of fine motor skills and axing a lot of players known for dropping the ball, will also help.

To be fair Tui fell out of flavour, I dont think hes being managed well, but would surprise me if he is unfit. Thompson keeping him out and sounds like their ISP team dont train hard haha.
And its Wests Magpies by the way, bloody tigers fans just like Manly fans. To be fair, none of the mergers were fair to the other clubs. Dragons are prob the closest to keeping some of each club alive.

Tui got in trouble for letting himself go over the off season. I think he looks destined for ESL.
